High School fishing weekend
We stayed with 2 of our Anglers for the weekend, to fish our tournament. Great location. Beautifully scenery. Loved the back porch!!!!

Beautiful house and area
The house was clean and well stocked with anything you might need. It's like a wildlife viewing area with the deer and ducks/geese, etc. I hate to say too much good stuff because I want it to be available to book again. It's very convenient to my mother's house (1.5 miles to be exact). The only thing that wasn't perfect was the dryer wasn't working. Not a huge deal except I'd just come from my sister's house and thought I'd not bother her doing laundry there (we flew in from ME because my mom had surgery). So it would have been nice if they had told me before we arrived. However, definitely not a deal breaker. The bed in the larger bedroom was so comfortable. I never felt my husband move. Also, communication with the owner was immediate, he replied within 15 minutes.

Cozy lake house.
Fantastic views of the lake from the screened in porch. Lots of deer and bald eagles ro watch every morning and evening. The house was cozy, comfortable and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend this property..

Cute and Clean and Cozy!
This is an older property that has been remodeled. It was clean and had everything that we needed. Plenty of towels, kitchen wares and a great coffee Kureig that did both pods and carafe. The screened in large patio was lovely to sit and enjoy the beautiful view. Lots of deer came each evening! The Manager, Kristina was a big help with the TV and responded back very quickly! Will be staying again!

Perfect Stay
This place was great it’s a nice cozy home right off the lake. Just waking up and enjoying the screened in porch overlooking the lake was beautiful and relaxing. Watching the deer stroll by. Highly recommend this place we look forward to renting it again next year!

Lovely, Peaceful Setting
It was so wonderful to relax on the screened in porch and look at the lake, observe deer roaming the area, and a few eagles as well. The house had everything we needed and enough room for us but felt very cozy and inviting. It is exactly the type of place we would have if we ever bought a place to get away. The town of Jefferson offered a few days of shopping and wandering around, enjoying the history and the very friendly people.

Beautiful view of the lake
Comfortable, easy stay. We enjoyed kayaking, fishing, and watching the deer from the porch. Peaceful stay. Comfy living space and beds. Owner/manager answered texts very quickly when we had questions. We'll stay here again.

Outstanding views!
Very comfortable little house. Loved that it had covered parking and enclosed porch. Plenty of towels and blankets. The cafe around the corner was great for breakfast and the distance to Jefferson was perfect for day trips. Our only disappointment was that the nicest bathroom with the bathtub was basically inaccessible to the living quarters. You had to walk outside, go down a set of steps and go into the garage to find it. The bathroom upstairs was just fine but we had a couple of cold rainy nights and a hot bath would have been nice. I would definitely recommend this place to friends though!

Winter Father and Son Fishing Trip
Cabin was perfect for a quick father and son fishing trip to Lake O the Pines. Cabin was spotless and very well appointed. The porch has phenomenal views of the lake including beautiful sunsets. Kristina and Lucy were great hosts. Look forward to a return visit!!

Lake front at it's best!
We had a wonderful stay! We were two couples staying for a weekend fishing tournament. The house was PERFECT!! From the gorgeous view of the lake, the deer visiting morning and the perfect parking for two trucks with bass boats. The beds and the couch were super comfy. The host provided all types of supplies.... Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, laundry detergent, dish washer pods, gas grill, etc, etc, etc. The only complaint I would have would be those annoying bugs that were EVERYWHERE. I know, it's nature.. But why so many!?! This is NOT a house complaint... Just a nature complaint. Thank goodness for the screened in porch! Oh, that 2nd bathroom.... We had a scavenger hunt to find it. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. Will definitely return!

Awesome cottage on the lake
We truly enjoyed our stay here. The views and access to the lake were great. It was very peaceful and quiet in the neighborhood, with friendly neighbors nearby. The furnishings inside the house and out on the amazing porch were very comfortable. They thought of just about anything you could possibly need there during your stay. Communications with our host Kristi were great. We loved seeing the deer come to the property daily. There’s dried corn in the storage area below to put out for them even. There’s a gas grill and camping chairs for use, and floats for the lake. The downstairs bathroom was convenient for use when outside on the ground level, too. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful each day of our stay. This cottage is a wonderful place to stay for peace and tranquility. We hope to return next year.

Great little get away with an amazing view. Lake is shallow out for a long way so it is great for kids to swim. Huge screened in porch great to hang out on. If you put corn out deer come up real close in the evening. Below the house there is a gas or charcoal grill to use along with a nice bathroom. Can not say enough good things about the place. Will for sure be back.

Lovely and quiet.
We loved the house and property. The yard down to the water is beautiful. The house is perfectly furnished and equipped. There are little extras throughout the house ie. trial size bath products, a few food staples, etc. The screened in porch however is the absolute best. We will definitely stay again.

The houses were just as picture shown .we could use another bth room. if it were upstairs and inside The house had a stale odor upon arriving but we were prepared with air spary. The house were well stocked with anything you needed for a relaxing trip. Thank God for how convinced it were to stores and park .others family were staying in a house just around coner.and Johnson creek recreation. Is so closely you can bat you eyes and be there. We would definitely book it again. And tell other families and friends about it. There were 4adults in our a we enjoyed !enjoyed @ One thing the guest with me had the better bed and tv in room. Need tv in 2nd room and could uses new matters.on bed Good 2days .the mens went fishing. but The water were to shallow in that area. They went to another location and caught catfish.its were exciting to see dear down by lake.sitting on back porch were breath taking. Entering at night the lights were on point.... 3/2022

Great stay, some maintenance needed.
Place was great. I suggest you have the gutters cleaned. Full of leaves ND debris that will cause you a problem soon. Also, hammer down the nails on the master bedroom tackstrip at the door entrance. If you're bare footed you know they're sticking up through the carpet. Stay was peaceful.

Great place, extremely clean. Access to the lake where we kayaked was easy. The pictures of the place are good, but when you get there this place is fantastic. Tremendous setting, deer are regular visitors. Our Grand Daughter who is 7 had an absolute blast feeding the deer, catching fish 🐠 & getting into the lake 😊

Great lake access. VERY shallow ALL the way out. Great for kids because of the water depth. The house had everything you would need and the screened porch is AWESOME! The record player was a great touch as well. We will probably be back.

Great Lake House with Lake View
The house is on the Lake of the Pines with lovely views of the lake. The large screened porch is amazing and has a couch, chairs and a patio table. The house was nicely decorated and lots of supplies were provided. The 2nd bathroom was only available from outside of the house, which was not kid friendly or convenient. The keyless entry was a nice touch but the instructions didn’t indicate that we needed to access it at the back of the house. The property management was a plus. Our contact Rebecca was very responsive to our questions. The property owner was also helpful and welcoming. She provided tips about the best park for a cookout. The house is located right beside the Johnson Creek Recreation area, which has a nice Day Use area. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much!

This property was very peaceful and perfectly located to the town of Jefferson.
This property was a perfect location for weekend get away. I was in close proximity from the local winery. This property is large enough to sleep four comfortably and appeared to have a pull out sleeper.
