“We had an absolutely wonderful time! We loved the space, especially the big deck for stargazing and the creek for splashing around. There was AC throughout the house which made the hot days easy. This place is a total gem and only 12 minutes from town and the river! The only thing we would change for our next visit is that we would bring an extra air mattress as some of the fold out couches weren’t super comfortable. We are so glad we were able to stay here and we cannot wait until our next……

“We came in Fall for a quick getaway to explore the area. The Great Outpost was indeed, great!Our host were welcoming, and made sure we had everything we needed and more, including the hot tub. Really cool place to stay. Close to Kernville, where they were having a community fall festival. So much fun! I would love to come back to ski. Thank you Fyza!!!! ”

“Beautiful location in the woods”

“I was looking for a cozy getaway for my December birthday and this could not have been better. We were looking for a cozy, restful weekend away and it was perfect. The couches and beds were incredibly comfortable, and perfect for sleeping in and slow, relaxing days of reading, streaming and movies, and games and puzzles. We took our little doggies on walks around the neighborhood and enjoyed the Main Street food (the pizza!!) coffee, and general store just minutes away. We prepared 4 meals in……

“Our first time staying in a cabin/airb&b, we weren't sure what to expect. Joshua put us at ease early when reaching out with a warm welcome and helpful tips. The home was beautiful, outside with its multi level decks and view of the mountain side. Inside the house was very cozy and spacious offering all the comforts of home from a great living room with modern entertainment like streaming services, DVDs, board games and books.
