Dear Anonymous,
Thank you for leaving feedback from your recent stay with us at Vineyard Cottages. I am pleased to know you loved your stay with us and can't wait to welcome you back soon!
Kind regards,
I would absolutely recommend Vinyard Cottages as a place to stay. The hosts are amazing and the cottages/gardens are beautiful. Breakfast and dinners at the on site restaurant are top notch too
The standalone, self contained cottages were very nicely presented and well equipped. The cottage had airconditioning and several heaters to cope with the cooler evenings.
The bed was not as comfortable as I had expected for the presentation of the property which resulted in frequently disturbed sleep.
Very nice surrounds and property. Staff were great. Made sure we were offered opportunity to join other guests for twilight wine and cheese on adjacent property even though we arrived late. Whilst we didn't go, it was really nice to be asked. We'll be back.

The room was lovely, a bit stuffy as there was no flow of natural air. Restaurant was not open, but there were plenty of places to eat
Had booked an overnight stay but unfortunately the room was double booked by another company. Simon, who manages the property was very accommodating and offered us another room and managed to find us an extra night as well. Rooms were very comfortable and spacious. Very quiet location with occasional traffic noise during the day but nothing too annoying. As we were travelling during the Christmas holidays and COVID restrictions, eating choices were limited around the area and had to venture to Stanthorpe for a couple of meals. Simon also organised a tour at Bent Road Winery which was an amazing experience. Overall, a very pleasant stay.
We really enjoyed our stay at the vineyard cottages. The owners and staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have a pleasant stay. Simon took us on a unique wine tour which was excellent. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful I can’t recommend the food enough. I cant wait to go back again !
We have stayed at the Vineyard Cottages a number of times as part of a group. This was our first stay as a couple at Vineyard Cottages and first stay under the new management. The cottages are still charming and the updates being made to the dining and lounge rooms have made for an even more pleasant stay. The cottages are well situated for Wine tours and a visit to Girraween National Park. We are already looking forward to our next visit to the area and Vineyard on Ballandean as it is now known will be on top of our list of accomodation options.
the hosts were great, lovely people, lovely area, very handy to lots of wineries, the ballandean pub was great fun. the food options on site (for tea) were also excellent. basically we couldnt have asked for more.
It was a lovely place to stay at the end of our road trip before we went home. Lovely cottage, quiet and tranquil. Will be staying again here. Cannot fault them and recommend them to anyone looking for a place to stay in Stanthorpe.
very attractive complex with nice garden setting next do to popular vineyards and close to the Girraween national park.
each cottage is independent, private and comfortable.
I highly recommend this place

Thanks Ian for the review. With over 50 Wineries now, hope to see you again. Regards, John & Penny.
Good location. Close to Girraween National Park for hiking with spectacular views. Comfortable, warm and clean rooms with beautiful walk through gardens. Restaurant with great food & local wines on grounds. Friendly service.
Our King Terrace Easy Access does not have a spa and we do not advertise that it has. Our standard King Terraces do have spas.

Gorgeous Gardens
The cottages are located very close to Girraween National Park and local wineries. The gardens are beautiful and we took some lovely photos in them. The inside of the cottage was clean but simple. The cottage was well-heated. Ours didn't have a kitchenette - just a kettle and fridge, but the owners provided us with a microwave and toaster. The restaurant serves lovely food.

Thank you Anne for your positive feedback. Our King Terraces have kitchenettes and may suit better next time.
Very clean and centrally located yet quiet. Great bed comfort and outside patio. The dinner was very good and Chef Stephen was very good. Highly recommended.
Great little cottage in a lovely setting. Wonderful owners who are very keen to help in any way. We also had a great meal in the restaurant. Would happily recommend this to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.
Beautifully appointed cottages scattered around well managed garden that have plenty of flowers. They are close to the main wineries in Ballandean. Staffs are friendly and the attached restaurant provides varieties of breakfast and meals for lunch and dinner. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay,
Friendly and professional managers, great chef, inspiring gardens, cosy and clean cottage. Excellent location - quiet and near to award-winning wineries and Girraween National Park.
We had a relaxing stay at Vineyard cottages recently. It was central and comfortable .
However not as private as hoped with staff & fellow guests walking around on your front porch ( a lovely outlook but apparently not private?) We were also put next to the septic system which smelt terrible. My husband being a plumber said there really was no excuse for this and he was quite annoyed to cope with that at $245 per night without breakfast !!
We will be looking at other options next time as we didn't feel overall it was quite what we had expected for a romantic weekend away.
Great location, great service and great food. We visited here last year and were very happy to return here. Management are very pleasant and the grounds are very pretty. Would return here without hesitation.
