Awesome Costa Rica Bachelor Party
Awesome vacation with a group of 11 guys celebrating an upcoming wedding (bachelor party for my brother in law). Property management was incredibly responsive and helpful. The property was clean and exactly as we expected! Highly recommend - great value for what we received.

Amazing house and view
Came out with a group of friends and had an amazing time at this house. Everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom which everyone appreciated. It was in a great location which made it easy to get to Dominical and Uvita. Would absolutely stay here again!

Our group stayed at this house. The rooms where very nice, and that each room had it's own bathroom was great. The property manager was awesome to work with. We brought in our own cooks (Heavens Kitchen) and they also loved the layout.

Villa Pacifica Paradise
Amazing location, amazing and huge infinity pool, amazing views! Incredible place for our large family to get together and enjoy a week. This place is the real deal. Hensy is an amazing host, very attentive and helpful for local recommendations. At one point the gas ran out and she had people there within the hour to get it back up and running. There is no AC in the main living area so it can get a bit muggy/musty but all the more reason to spend time on the big beautiful covered patio by the pool. We loved eating at the dining table outside during the rain. All of the bedrooms have AC but some of us preferred to sleep with the windows/sliding doors open instead to enjoy the sound of the ocean. I would recommend 4 wheel drive if possible, as the hill and driveway are incredibly steep and some cars may struggle in the rain. We were there during rainy season and one huge thunderstorm knocked out the power to the whole neighborhood. But it came back on in a few hours and the rain subsided enough for us to get out and enjoy the great activities the area has to offer. Overall we would absolutely stay at Villa Pacifica next time we're in Costa Rica. We saw lots of wildlife and birds from the property, including several toucans!

Good house amazing pool
We stayed at villa Pacifica with 10 people. Lots of good things and location is amazing. Read to the end for the few downsides. Teens and adults. There was plenty of space and The house and rooms are very nice. The pool is super large and was nice and warm. Hensy is easy to work with and very nice. The view is exceptional. Also, checho, the security guard is the best and he stays right by the house on the main road. There is no AC in the main living room and kitchen. Only in the bedrooms. It was extremely hot in the main house areas. Also, no wifi in 2 of the bedrooms. The one halfway down the stairs and one of the bottom floor rooms. Also, stairs to the extra 3 bedrooms that are not in the main house are steep and one is severely cracked and could cause someone to fall.

Family Getaway
My husband and I, along with our 7 children, ages 13-22 accompanied us on vacation to Costa Rica, near Dominical. Hensy, the property manager made sure we had transportation to and from the airport, food in our arrival later in the evening, and an easy check in. She answered all of our questions, and helped us with our excursions. The property was clean, the view was breathtaking and the landscaping was well kept. There was plenty of room for all of us to spread out, and enjoy time together, or time alone if we wanted some peace and quiet. We were within easy walking distance to the beach, and to the cute little town of Dominical. We enjoyed every moment of our time in Costa Rica, and hope this isn't our last.

Our group of 8 (2 families with teenage kids) had an incredible week here! it was the perfect house with unforgettable sunsets every night from the outside patio/pool. Hensy made our vacation seamless and stress-free. She was a total lifesaver bringing us pizza on our arrival day when we arrived after dinner with starving kids! I highly recommend this house for the beauty and location. It was a memorable week for all of us!

Girls Getaway
Six of us decided to rent this property in March 2020 for my sisters 40th birthday. The house was very clean and Hensy was extremely helpful. 3 of the 6 bedrooms are outside of the house and not on the same level. You’ll have to walk down a set of stairs which are lit to access these rooms. At night it’s a little scary so my daughter who is 28 yrs old was not comfortable with being down there so she stayed with me in my room. During our stay the infinity feature on the pool was not working which was disappointing as that was one of the reasons why we booked the property. The pool person only came once for the week we were there so we were cleaning the pool ourselves daily. We realized on night #2 that every night at sunset a large amount of bats would come flying out of the rafters from the upper level of the house; it was quite a scene. My bedroom was the 2nd master bedroom on the upper level and during the end of my stay I noticed the ceiling was peeling leaving dust and paint on the floor by the mirror and when I listened closely I could hear a bird or something within the walls so I’m thinking there’s an opening somewhere on the balcony for them to create a nest perhaps. During our ride back from a restaurant one night we saw that local residents lived walking distance from the property in less than desirable living conditions. A few of us were a little concerned with that as we did feel safe being in a gated area but we befriended Checho the security guard who took the trash for us nightly. Tips if you rent this property: Hire Flory she is an amazing chef! Rent a vehicle because getting transportation to restaurants and other areas were extremely difficult for us. Walking to the beach is possible (I guess) if you are ok with walking down an extremely steep unpaved hill, crossing the street and walking through a wooded area. We could see the beach from the house and out of the week we were there we saw people on the beach twice. We did not see anyone renting chairs or umbrellas. Download a translator app. I used Google translator Dominical grocery store (5mins) is good for alcohol and snacks but if you need meats I would go into Uvita (15mins). Overall a good property and quiet area.

Amazing vacation in Dominical!
We had an amazing stay in Dominical. The house was beautiful and the view is absolutely stunning. We had 8 adults and 8 kids and it was perfect for us. Hensy was great and communicated with us often throughout our stay, helping us with suggestions for food and planning excursions. We had a small issue with the fridge, but Hensy took care of it quickly. The chef, Flory come out 3 nights and cook dinner which was amazing and allowed us to relax and not have to worry about cooking or cleaning up. Overall, it was a great experience that we will never forget.

Great reunion with friends
We had 8 adults and 8 kids stay for 5 nights at Villa Pacifica. It was a great experience. The house has a unique layout with 3 rooms with separate entrances, but it worked well for our group. The kitchen was well stocked (minus a toaster) there were plenty of towels for the pool and beach. The patio has a ton of seating so everyone can relax together. We walked down the hill to the beach which was lovely. Short ride into Dominical for smoothies and dinner. Hensy gave us great recommendations for surfing and kayaking. She also arranged for a chef to cook for us one night. If you don’t mind steps this is a perfect house.

A comfortable home for our family of 15
The view of the Pacific beyond the pool was awesome and greeted us every morning, the sunset every night. There were 10 adults and 5 children and 6 bathrooms were essential. Not all showers had warm water and one shower head needs replacing. Lovely eating space on pool deck. Pool used extensively by all, well maintained. Beds comfortable, would prefer extra pillows. We employed a cook, Flory for our evening meals and enjoyed local food and her excellent service including her husband Tooto. It was an ideal setting for family birthday party and adventures to many beaches, Cano Is., Nauyaca Waterfalls, then coming home to Villa Pacifica, all of us under one roof.

Beautiful home and view. Very spacious bedrooms.
We loved our stay at Villa Pacifica. The sunsets and sunrises were incredible. The house was accommodating for groups and couples. There is a guard named Checho at the top of the driveway who was really helpful and took away our trash for us. The neighborhood was safe and super close to Playa Dominical for restaurants, shopping and walking to the beach. It was hard to locate some basic things from the local supermarket like rolaids and a thermometer but that seems to be common in CR. Plan to bring anything from home that you need for self care. The drive up the mountain was steep but short and the driveway was also super steep. Plan for 4 wheel drive. The only issue we had with the house was the sink under the main kitchen started leaking but a Plummer in our group was able to fix it. One slight inconvenience for whomever stays in the main room (master by the pool) is that the walls are thin and you can hear everything. People cooking in the morning or chatting at night in the living room was hard to get away from. The main & garage door doesn’t have a cushion and slams shut very hard so it woke us up on a few occasions when friends came & went. The rest of the rooms are huge and practically like their own little homes. Hensy was kind and accommodating. She even organized an in home doctor visit when one of our friends got very ill. The doctor was able to come within an hour and help. Over all a wonderful experience and home that should be shared with many people.

Amazing views of the ocean. Easy access to the beach and local shops.
This was a beautiful home good for families and groups. The main house has a large kitchen and some common spaces to enjoy meals and time together. The pool area is gorgeous and great for BBQ's. The space gets hot but keeping the windows and doors open allows for a nice air flow through the home. Each room has A/C and the beds are HUGE! The only issue we had staying in the master room was that the doors are really thin and they shut hard so we were woken up on a few occasions when our guests came & went from the house or into the garage. It would be wise to add a padding to the doors to slow the slamming down. We could also hear people talking and the echo as people moved through the house or clanking of pots/pans as people cooked breakfast. Ear plugs might be a good idea if you're a light sleeper (or) choose to sleep in one of the lower, detached houses which are also more than adequate and could be considered a "master" room. Hensy was very responsive and helpful. She even sent a doctor late at night when one of our friends was very sick and we thought we might have to drive to the hospital. The doctor arrived within 90 minutes and saved us the trip. They have a guard at the top of the driveway which made us feel safe. Checho was awesome and even took our trash out for us. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Hensy was a very sweet, very accommodating host. She helped us book a personal chef for a night (which was amazing) and suggested plenty of excursions and activities. The house was pristine when we arrived, had comfortable beds, and breathtaking views. We absolutely loved it. It was very clean when we arrived. The house and grounds are very well kept in a beautiful setting. You will not be disappointed. The bedrooms are very spacious, well maintained with great air conditioning. The pool and veranda are beautiful. We spent every morning and evening enjoying the pool and outstanding views. The view of the sunsets are exceptional. There is ample seating on the pool deck and around the table where we had unbelievable meals every evening. Dominical was wonderful. Excursions were excellent. What I would like to do is thank the people of Costa Rica. In particular Hensy and Flory. I will start with Flory and her family. What a wonderful gift. She cooked dinner for us every evening. Every meal was outstanding. From the homemade salsa and guacamole to the fish Ceviche appetizer, to all the unbelievable seafood meals and chicken dishes, and all the homemade desserts, you will not be disappointed. Her son, daughter and husband would also come over and help. What a wonderful family. We thoroughly enjoyed getting to know them. Flory, thank you for everything you did for us. We also wanted to thank Checho our security guard. What a pleasant man. I will finish with Hensy. I have been self-employed for thirty seven years and if Hensy would ever move to the United States I would hire her in a minute to run one of my companies. If you are expecting an outstanding true concierge experience you have absolutely come to the right place. We will come back to Villa Pacifica because of Hensy. From the beginning she was super responsive to all my questions as I planned the vacation. She was extremely knowledgeable, very detail oriented, and totally helpful in every way possible. She helped us throughout the week from the car rentals, to handling our excursions last minute, to offering to grocery shop for us, to guiding us to an excursion when we got lost and rescheduling it for us because we missed the initial time. She bought us a couple of new pillows with a beautiful note: “I hope you have a wonderful night sleep with your new pillows “. As far as a person, she is the best. Hensy is trustworthy, helpful, courteous, friendly, and cheerful. She is the kindest and most caring person we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. The owners are lucky to have her. Hensy , Thank you for everything you did for us. We will miss you very much. Until next time: PURA VIDA.

Great for large groups
We had 16 people ranging in age from 4 to 64 in our group and the house easily accommodated us. The weather was gorgeous and we spent most of our time on the outdoor veranda and in the pool. Magnificent views of the Pacific Ocean. You do have to traverse a very steep drive and cross a busy road to walk to the beach. Also, we did not realize access to three of the bedrooms was from the outside, so beware if you have families with young children who may require naps. The bedrooms in the house only have one bed each. Hensy was helpful in planning excursions and recommending local restaurants, grocery stores and securing rental vehicles for our stay. I did have to follow up with her on a regular basis to check the status of things so we could plan our days, but ultimately everything worked out and everyone had a good time. My only feedback to the property owners would be to do a more thorough job of cleaning before turning the house over to new guests, the kitchen was not at all clean and I had to scrub it down before we felt comfortable cooking our own meals. Overall a good experience, there is lots to do in the immediate area and our group enjoyed exploring all that Costa Rica has to offer. If you are expecting a true concierge experience you will find yourself a little frustrated.

Hi Brenda, As owner of Villa Pacifica I would like to thank you and your group for choosing to stay at VP and I am glad to see you had a good time. Brenda your points on cleanliness are well taken and we have since hired a completely new crew. We totally agree no one wants to deal with someone else's grime and will certainly continue to see that cleanliness is a top priority. As for the layout of the house it was designed so every room has beautiful views of the ocean. If this wasn’t communicated my apologies. The bed layouts were supplied and we always will go out of our way to help to accommodate everyone. I would like to speak to the work of our concierge Hensy. This was a group of 16 people enjoying VP on the busiest week of the year. Although booking a year in advance they had neglected to pre book tours or cars so Hensy came over at 8 pm, Dec. 27 and went over with the clients what they would like. She managed to book fishing, surfing lessons, a wonderful trip to Cano island to see whales and dolphins.. She also picked up groceries a few times, arranged a chef to cook a meal for their 10:30 pm arrival, made last minute car rental reservations as well as dinner reservations and surprised Brenda with a birthday cake. Hensy had also arranged a 30 person bus to take everybody to Liberia but at the last minute your group decided you would like a larger bus with a washroom. Hensy managed to find a 50 person bus with a washroom. All of this arranging and shuttling was done with absolutely no charges to the clients. Hensy has been and will continue to be one of the best reasons to rent Villa Pacifica.

Wonderful villa for rest, relaxation and fun! Plenty of space too.
Just spent 7 days at the villa with 8 other women. We loved it. The views from the pool and the deck are amazing. We ate all our meals outside at the huge table enjoying the beautiful views. The villa itself is great for large groups with 6 bedrooms - each with its own bathroom. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house and 3 bedrooms outside the main house. Plenty of space for everyone. Hensy helped arrange everything ahead of time and was patient with all of questions and requests. She arranged transport to and from the villa, 2 rental cars (driving around Dominical was easy), arranged for a chef 3 nights (Flory is amazing!) and cleaners (I recommend this). She arranged a horse back riding trip to the falls - which we LOVED and recommend. The little town of Dominical is a few minute drive and lots of restaurants and shops. Recommend Fuego Brewery, Cafe Mongo, Phat Noodle and Tortilla Flats. We had amazing spa services in town too - Alegrio I think?! The house is up on a hill in a gated community. We felt safe at all times - there is a guard at night. It is just a quick walk down a big hill to the street and the ocean (2 blocks maybe but straight up and down). The restaurant/bar at the bottom of the hill is charming and has a great sunset view. We bought groceries in Uvita - a 15 minute drive - although there are small places in Dominical too. OH, and if you get the chance - visit Tail Winds bar - it is a bar built into an airplane. So Fun. A few other things - plenty of bath and beach towels and internet worked great. Chairs and umbrellas for the beach. Washer/dryer so you can do your own laundry too. Enough plates, cups and silverware for all of us. No central air conditioning but good AC in all the bedrooms. Pots/pans could be updated and there could be a little more of them - but to be honest we didn't do that much cooking at home. There are so many light switches and fan switches it was a little confusing (even though they are marked) but we figured it out. We had an amazing time - pura vida - and you will too!

Incredible vacation in a beautiful house in an awesome town
We had a great week at Villa Pacifica! The house was perfect for our group comprised of 3 families and 15 people, ranging in age from 50 years to 20 months. The house is in a great location, and is safe and private. It's just a couple of minutes from the cool town of Dominical, and a short walk to a very quiet beach. At the house, we loved using the pool morning, noon and night, and loved eating breakfasts and dinners together in the outdoor dining area. Hensy was so incredibly helpful answering all of our questions both before and during our trip, and arranged awesome excursions such as surfing lessons, zip-lining, a guided tour through Manuel Antonio National Park, and ATVing! All of the guides she set us up with were so knowledgable and friendly, and were so happy to share their love for their country with us. We definitely felt as though we were in very good hands with Hensy helping us all week. What also made our trip extra special and relaxing was having a wonderful woman named Flory prepare many delicious breakfasts and dinners for us. It was so nice to be gone a good chunk of the day without worrying about shopping and cooking for such a big group. We hope to be back in Costa Rica in the years to come, and would definitely want to stay at Villa Pacifica when we do!

Villa Pacifica was absolutely perfect for our family of 13.
We had a wonderful family vacation at Villa Pacifica. Our family consisted of 8 adults and 5 children ranging from 4yrs to 13 years. In large part it was because of Hensy. She was available to answer every question that I had. She helped to arrange for our car rentals, she scheduled and booked our excursions for zip lining, waterfall hike, and deep sea fishing. She gave us restaurant suggestions. She was exceptional. The villa had bedrooms for all of us, it was very clean and had all the conveniences we wanted. Most of our meals were prepared there. Our children wanted to have as much time as possible for swimming. The trees and flowers around the villa were beautiful and provided great spots for photos. I would 100% recommend Villa Pacifica to anyone . Another plus was that there was a highway that went right by there and about 30-45 minutes either way and we were at our destinations.

Amazing views, amazing house, can't wait to come back!
Loved Villa Pacifica! We stayed there with another family (total of 11 people) over spring break and had such an amazing time. We flew into SJO, rented a car, and drove down to Dominical. We knew from the photos that Villa Pacifica would be gorgeous and it truly was. From ocean views, to spacious bedrooms, outdoor dining, to the comfortable, relaxing pool - it was perfect for our group. The kitchen is very well stocked - plenty of dishes, cutting boards, knives, etc...even an electric griddle which we used daily. One of the best parts about our stay was the property manager, Hensy. She is a gem!! I must have asked a thousand questions in the months leading up to our visit, and she responded within minutes. Her information and help along the way was invaluable! She was there to meet us upon arrival and was there through the week when we needed her (a lighter to light the bbq, extra trash bags, etc...) Some people think it's just a detail but when you have someone knowledgeable right by your side when visiting a new country, a new area, etc....it really makes a world of difference and it starts the trip off on the right foot. The beach is actually across the street - very short driving distance - we didn't mind this as we loved the view and being up high (and did more swimming in the pool anyway). There are plenty of grocery stores (again, Hensy was so helpful in recommending them) in nearby Utiva and Quepos and also a supermarket very close in Dominical. Plenty of opportunities to rent surfboards and boogie boards too. We loved our stay and can't wait to return!! Big thanks to Hensy for everything!!!

off, I would like to start off with explaining how amazing the hostess was. Hensy answered every question throuroughly and within a timely matter before our trip, during our trip and after our to Dominical, Costa Rica. Her customer service was better than any I ever experienced in America! She set us up with a private shuttle pick up service, the driver picked our group of 12, with a sign that had my name on it, at San Jose airport. She recommended the white water rafting tour, ziplining, Uvita Waterfall, Vanterenas Beach, some food spots and a cool brewery! She also, helped with the car rentals for the weekend, arranged for a private chef and birthday cake to be made at the Villa. Phenomenal! I literally out of words just of the 5 star quality service, she provided us with! Secondly, now I'll talk about the Villa Pacifica. The Villa was up on hill/mountain were million dollar homes were hugged by beautiful tree's, surrounded by nature, flowers with a breath taking infinity pool overlooking more nature and the beach! Like seriously, this is the type of stuff you see in movies. I woke up to Parrots at one point, humming birds, national geographic sounds with the sound of ocean breeze!! UNREAL VIEW! JUST AMAZING! I thought we would've be completely isolated by we had neighbors up on the hill but we had a security guard right in front of the villa, who was kind enough to help with trash from time to time. Master bedroom has sliding doors that leads to the infinity pool. So does the living room area. Their was also cable at the Villa but the last thing we wanted to do was watch tv. SIDENOTE: Hensy helped usordered groceries from the local grocery store and the employees were kind enough to deliver it to our home!? Even after the grocery order was messed up, they came back to rectify the item in question and come back and deliver the right one. Again, I've never seen people so kind in my life!  Each room had it's own air conditioned unit which were very powerful and cooled the room down quick. No central but all we did was open the sliding doors and welcomed the ocean breeze through the Villa. We made good use of the grill on Sunday too! For night life, check out: Rum Bar, Feugo brewery and reggae night at Maracatu. Honestly, I could type forever how great this Villa and experiece was. So I'll stop here....for now. Thank you, Hensy! Thank you, Costa Rica! Pura Vida! 🇨🇷

Stunning Villa with a view - close to everything you need
Villa Pacifica in Dominical is by far one of the best accommodation experiences you and your guests will experience. First: the view. The pictures do not lie, you literally swim out to a view of the ocean watching the waves in the morning and into the evening. Wildlife was limited, but I was able to spot a toucan in the trees neighbouring the backyard, and you can hear the howling monkeys at night. There is a neighbourhood cat that likes to swing by, but dont worry it is very friendly and enjoys leftovers if you wish... bonus it eats the little bug critters as well! The house itself is everything you could ask for and more. Luxury living at its finest, every room is suited with A/C and full bathroom with large shower. The guest rooms by the pool are more than accommodating for larger groups. Checho, the security guard is on duty every night and as you will find with most locals, a friendly face to come home with a bonus of making your stay more comfortable and at ease with safety. The home is in great condition equipped with full en suite laundry, dishwasher, stainless steel appliances and google chromecast for rainy days. The home is located close to Dominical as well as Uvita giving you plenty of activities and restaurants within a quick drive. Manuel Antonio National Park is also a short drive away. Villa Pacifica comes with a fantastic concierge service in Hensy as she was always available to contact regarding anything to do with the property and even setting us up with great activities. Villa Pacifica made my family's vacation that much more relaxing and comfortable beginning every morning with a dip in the beautiful infinity pool as well as ending the day with the same. Everything you needed from a luxurious villa to security, and concierge services - this place exceeded expectations! Can't wait to go back and stay here again!!
