expensive, staff was not on the ball

Posted Dec 19, 2016
Pros: view
Cons: staff, parking prices
Nice hotel, great view, waited forever for someone to show up so we could get our vehicle, not to mention valet was 45.00. Self parking was 26.00. Room was ok for the price, faucet was corroded, shower could be updated. I guess you're paying for the nice lobby and view.

Not what I expected

Posted Nov 30, 2016
Pros: The lobby.
Cons: The guest rooms and the bathrooms.
Location: Location for me was excellent because it was walking distance to my daughter's home.
Thought the Marriott Baltimore Waterfront would be much nicer than it was. Front desk staff not great at check in and the room was just average. Overall the hotel room was a big disappointment from what I expected. For me, however the location was great but I should have stayed at The Hyatt Place nearby.

Dear Valued Guest, Thank you for taking the time to evaluate your most recent experience here at the Waterfront. I'm sorry that we didn't meet your expectations from a service standpoint. I believe arrival experience sets the tone of the stay, and unfortunately we may have fallen short with regards to your visit. I would like to assure you that I've passed along your comments to the team, for coaching and counseling opportunities. Thanks again for your valued feedback. All the best, Will Johnson Asst. Convenient Harbor East location, excellent views and amenities. Shopping, dining, movie theater all steps from hotel. Highly recommended!

Ridiculous

Posted Nov 13, 2016
No need to charge for internet these days. Also given the price the room should have softer towels and especially softer toilet paper

Last minute decision

Posted Sep 13, 2016
Hotel was great, staff was great! People next to our room, not great! 2:40 in the morning and two adults and two kids were still up talking loudly! Couldn't sleep at all.

Nice Harbor East Hotel

Posted Aug 20, 2016
Pros: Location, staff, view
Cons: Free internet
Location: Tons of things within walking distance. Fells Point, so lots of fun bars and restaurants. Inner harbor, so aquarium, submarines, bars, restaurants,
Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a comfortable hotel convenient to the inner harbor but not in the middle the harbor. We were immediately greeted by a manager who quickly checked us in. Our rooms were right next the elevators on the 25th floor, but we didn't notice any noise from the elevators and had a beautiful view of the harbor and city. Valet parking is a bit pricey at $45, but the self park option carries a cost. Also, Internet access is only free if you're a Marriot rewards member. There's a nice lobby area which is great for grabbing a cup of coffee (Starbucks) and a pastry for breakfast. Overall, a nice option for a stay in Baltimore.
