My wife and I arrived at the property earlier than check in. We did not expect a room earlier than check in but we did expect the front desk lady to be courteous! When in fact she was rude! We left and went to have a coffee and returned 30 minutes later. She was helping an older couple and let them sit down and have a conversation with her in regards to things to do in town. We weren’t even offered water. Lol. When we finally received our room even before check in time which was nice the bathroom was full of black mold on the shower walls. The lady at the front desk needs to take a lesson in customer service and the housekeeper needs the correct tools and chemicals to clean properly.

Found it to be a very nice property and employees were very courteous and helpful also location was very convenient. Only one inconvenience, room is extremely small.....

Extremely friendly and helpful staff, comfortable bed, pleasant room with plenty of storage. This place is challenging to find, so figure out how to get there (and find the entrance - it’s not obvious from the street!). We called the front desk and they came down and found us :)

The property was immaculate and the staff was accommodating and personable. Henrike (Henry) was very helpful with recommendations. I loved that the property is not accessible to the public and you had to have a room there in order to get in. We loved our stay at Malda and we definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for great service. We'll definitely be coming back.

The staff is terrific. The rooms are beautiful especially bathrooms. Warning that the small rooms are just that—small so unless ur traveling with only a carryon reserve a larger room.

This hotel was great! Right in the centre of Gothic Quarter, quick walking distance to Placa Catalunya, La Rambla, Cathedral, shopping, food, metro, really everything. The staff was great and very helpful. Room was really nice, great sun and very comfortable.

The property staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay. Travelled with a 2 year old and staffed made everything work for us. Very beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Barcelona. Bars and restaurants are accesible and very close to Rambla street without the buzz of cars and people.

Excellent hotel in a great location. The room was very comfortable and clean. The location is central to so many things and within walking distance of many places we wanted to visit. And the little restaurant/tapas bars on the side streets surrounding us were very very good.

Other than the fact that it's a little tricky to find once you do its such a Hidden gem of a property. It's in walking distance to las ramblas and many other areas around. What you cant walk too it's a metro ride away. Amazing property im glad i took the chance and book this i wasn't disappointed at all and if you are reading this you won't be either 😉 Book it now!!!

Great Experience
Great hotel! I highly recommend it. Location is wonderful, staff is super helpful and rooms are really comfortable. It feels very boutique and not too commercial. It was not hard to find at all. Once I got there I called the front desk and they greeted me as you need a key card to use the elevator. If you are lost just ask one of the nearby shop owners where to go.

Great location and stay!
We had a great stay here once we found the hotel which is a little tricky! The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was lovely and clean and comfortable. We arrived very early in the morning and were able to check in right away which was great since we were also exhausted. Would stay here again in Barcelona!

Clean, comfortable, safe hotel in a great location
This hotel is welcoming, pristine and beds are comfortable. It is in the Gothic area so I was able to walk to many sites and had many dining choices. Although this area can be busy with foot traffic, the hotel is very quiet. I travel solo and felt very safe here…and a few feet away, I got a great pedicure with foot reflexology!

This was an odd little place and I don’t understand the raves. Great location, but almost no services. Room, even for a deluxe upgrade was tiny. Cheap furniture. Half a window due to room placement. Bathroom off lobby has a single towel for sharing. And entering through thatchintzy mall is silly. Better to stay at a rental apartment

Hotel Malda Singular is a beautiful Hotel in the heart of the gothic district. So central and the staff is amazing! Beautiful rooms with high end finishes. We arrived very early and they let us keep our luggage there until our room was ready. Andres was wonderful and very helpful!

The staff was awesome and the check in process was set up perfectly. We really enjoyed the stay and will definitely stay here again. Located perfect in the center of many attractions and walkable to many shops and restaurants. Thank you

Upscale boutique hotel in gothic quarter
Rooms were modern and clean. Suite had cute little balcony and the air conditioning was amazing on the hot days. You are in the heart of the Gothic quarter with tons of things to do. Would stay here again!!

I would stay again
Our 3 nights at this hotel were great! The bed was very comfortable (with a hard mattress) and great pillows. The staff were helpful with ordering taxis. Great location. I would recommend it.
