I travel internationally all the time. I chose this hotel because the one in Madrid was on point.
I don't know if these are paid reviews but I definitely VERIFY THIS is NOT a 5* hotel.

LOBBY
At the entry point, the lobby is dimly lit with dead flowers at the reception desk. Nothing was shiny. You know how most hotels try to give a "fabulous" first impression. Not this dump.
THE ROOM
I was tired. The only thing I was looking forward to was the great room experience I had at the sister property in Madrid.
The room was poorly lit, possibly to hide the substandard house keeping and dirt. The towels were not bright white or fluffy but apparently old and over washed.
The sheets were the same. I slept on top of the covers.
FOOD
I ordered room service. The pasta was dry and it was delivered in 5 minutes. I asked if it was prepared fresh. He said "Yes.." I smirked. The cheese wasn't covered and the dish had a red pasta sauce stain on it despite my pasta having no sauce at all. The mushrooms weren't cooked but strategically placed with sprinklings of an herb, possibly oregano. This is Spain where the expectation is fresh food and pasta. Nope. I'd question if the food was even clean
Let's scoot over to the menu. Nothing for vegetarians and the vegetarian options on the menu was "tuna". WE DO NOT EAT MEAT or FISH.
There weren't any vegan options whatsoever.
