Excellent location, everything you need.

Posted Nov 2, 2016
Pros: 5 min walk from Clot station. Spacious room with great shower!!
Cons: Breakfast was pricey at 9 euros. Eating out is surprisingly reasonable so I thought this was expensive.
Location: 5 min from Clot metro station which runs to airport. 15 min walk to Sagrada Familia area.
On arrival we were told we had a double room but as 2 friends we had requested a twin room upon booking. After a lengthy discussion this was sorted out., The rooms are comfortable and spacious. If you like a couple of teas/coffee you will have to keep asking for milk or just grab your own from the ship next door.

Comfortable, convenient small hotel

Posted Oct 27, 2016
Pros: See above
Cons: Eggs at breakfast were cold. One day when I arrived close to 7:30, breakfast wasn't ready, but appeared, serially, over the next half hour. Friendly
Location: Close to metri, trains, bakeries, grocery.
Near metro and train stops; comfortable modern room; friendly, helpful staff; bakery with luscious pastries just down the block; small cafes several streets over; a neighborhood grocery virtually next door:and a glass of cava at the end of a day spent exploring this beautiful city--what's not to like?

Barcelona trip

Pros: Cleanliness, friendliness
Nice hotel, didn't try bus service, but taxis are pretty cheap, best way to see the city is the bus tours.

The hotel is out the way

Posted Jun 15, 2016
Pros: The rooms were nice, tea/coffee facilities in room and empty fridge for guest use was a nice touch
Cons: Air conditioning
Hotel quite quaint, but most of the rooms had air conditioning problems, we booked 6 rooms and they put us all on seperate floors which was not very nice as we were a family on a weekend break for a 60th birthday. breakfast was nice for a 3*, had to pay for the metro every day to go anywhere. We had a triple room and wanted 3 single beds, had a sofa bed and it was terrible so beware of this

Wonderful location but poor night's sleep

Posted Apr 2, 2016
Pros: Location and staff.
Cons: Replace detectors, paint walls, take controls off of HVAC system so guests can set there own temperatures.........and more and thicker pillows.
A super location near the metro and Sagrada Familia. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room small but desparately needed paint, bathroom shelving, a heating/air conditioning system which did not have temperature limits on them and ceiling mounted smoke detectors that flashed so brightly every 15 seconds that you can see the bright flash through closed eyes. The sleep conditions were poor - hot, unable to open windows due to loud street noise and continuous flashing detector lights.

Good hotel, somewhat off the beaten path.

Posted Mar 6, 2016
Pros: Good value, breakfast on site, typical European buffet style offerings.
Cons: The elevator was out of order for part of my stay, not very convenient since my room was on the 5th floor.
Location: About 1km to Sagrada Familia and Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau. A bit further to Barri Gotic and La Rambla.
I chose this hotel because of its proximity to Sagrada Familia (about 1km away on the same street). It was a good choice for my purpose, which was a walking vacation in Barcelona. I found all of the sights I wanted to see within walking distance, including Barri Gotic, La Rambla, and all of the Gaudi sights I had on my itinerary.
