Showers need a refresh. Unless you have very lon g legs its dangerous to get in/out of the tub shower arrangement.

The place is very close to a green line sub way stop and is extremely close to the luxury shopping area. The amenities are very nice and extremely well built. It’s also only 10 min away from las Ramblas

I agree with what's been said already. Excellent hotel in all respects except small (but very nice) bathrooms. Would not bring a swimsuit in the summer. The rooftop pool is tiny and shallow. Location, staff, lobby bar and rooms are very nice. I would definitely go back again if staying in Barcelona!

We did not get the room we booked. There was construction on our floor the whole time. The noise was from 9am to 5pm fri thru Monday even Sunday. The smell from glue was terrible.
Location is great, room was confortable and nice, good view, the food is very good and the service also, very friendly staff. They made our stay more pleasant. The only thing I didn’t like was the lobby..

In the heart of the city.. walking distance to everything!!
The A/C wasn’t working so we had to open up a window even though it was chilly outside but didn’t want heat.
Also we ordered room service. Ordered Cava but they gave us champagne, ordered a margarita pizza and we got a cheese pizza. So wasn’t too pleased with that.

Overrated. The only positive is the lobby staff which was very helpful. Our room ‘s air conditioner was defective. Also dinning room is closed during our stay. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very well located, nice rooms and friendly staff. I would recommend to skip breakfast in the hotel, it is not good and expensive and there are good bakeries close by
The one night we stayed there was a horrible experience and we will never come back nor recommend the Renaissance. We arrived there after traveling well over 15 hours and losing a day with our kids to only find out that Expedia miss led us with the reservations. I really don't know where to begin except that the staff were NOT accommodating, nor nice to talk to. We felt un- welcomed! We felt like we were looked down upon and we didn't belong there. Apparently our reservations that my husband had in his possession on paper was not a valid reservation with the Renaissance Hotel. A family of 3 is all they accommodate in a room and that WAS NOT explained to us when our reservations were made. So my husband asked for a cot to be put in our room since we are a family of 4 NOT 5 or 6 but 4. One extra person in our lovely family. Staff were making us feel real small and telling us that they don't put cot's in the room and that we had to purchase ANOTHER room at full price. After long discussions and being pushed into buying another room for ONE night at FULL PRICE they then said we were going to be charged for the extra breakfast. Then my husband tried to explain to them that that was NOT an option and that they should at least give us the free breakfast. After a couple of hours, my husband received a call that we would not be charged for the breakfast. Gee thanks but it shouldn't have been hours later to find that out. Not a great first experience and never again.
Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful
staff, clean spacious room , good breakfast . Only slight issue with Public WiFi in lobby, but no issues with Guest WiFI in room.
Renaissance Barcelona Hotel is an excellent location. It is close to everything and transportation. Their staff is friendly and the hotel is very clean. The rooms are spacious. They have an excellent breakfast buffet.
Within easy walking distance of the major shopping and tourist interest.The staff was always very helpful.If you what the flavor of Barcelona the port is about a 20 minute walk passing every shop caring the must haves from Barcelona.
