The place is nice and big very well located walking distance to beach, supermarket and bakery which we loved. the beds were very hard ,no shampoo we had to by toylet paper, the coffee mugs old and unusable. The rest of the dish were fine.one of the baths had black mildew on the tub wall..
The house is big enough for 10 persons. It is very comfortable and beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. Nothing to complain. Luis, the contact-person is very friendly and courteous. He answered fast and with competence. Thank you very much, Luis!
Nach Sturm Leslie wurde es kühl in der Wohnung und es gibt keine Heizung. Für den vorhandenen Kamin fehlte das Holz. Sonst war alles super.
This is a rather odd hotel with some pretty old facilities. The check in lobby looks nice but some of the rooms smell bad and look like they were build 40 years ago. The saving grace of the hotel is that they did have some nice views and were friendly. But it's definitely not worth paying more than ...
Clean, spacious for 2 couples, very friendly and punctual hostess, (we only gave her a days' notice) good hot water. Due to low season property in a quiet out of the way location which did not look the best. Long walk to shops and main township. Good surf at the time but you need to drive.
Looking to visit Barra Beach?
It resides in Aveiro, 130 miles from Lisbon District.
No matter how exhausting your day was, if you book a room at any one of the luxury hotels, you'll open your eyes feeling good as new. Be sure to check out the facilities and special offers at the Hotel Ílhavo Plaza and the Jardins da Ria.
As you roam the pathways that surround Barra Beach, visit Kiosk de "tripa". Smell the enchanting aroma of coffee and taste test a few sweet pastries. Bar Nova Vaga is also nearby if you want something more substantial. Finally, head to Makai. Have a couple of wines and chat with the locals.
