"Great hotel near Yale with friendly staff "

"Okay, not going to lie, when my husband and I pulled up to this hotel I had to double check that we were at the right address. The outside of the hotel looks like it could’ve been an old prison, and it’s literally in the same parking lot as an IKEA and overlooks an express way. However - don’t judge a book by its cover. This hotel is amazing and probably one of the nicer hotels we’ve ever stayed at. The inside is extremely modern, clean, well kept, and beautiful. The room was spacious and extremely clean. Best bathroom and shower. The room is controlled by a smart device so you can operate the lights, A/C, etc easily. Smart TV has streaming apps. And lots of outlets, USB ports, etc. Great lobby bar and restaurant as well. Location about 5-10 minute drive or bike ride (hotel offers free bike rentals) from main New Haven attractions."

"This was our second recent stay here. Our room again was nice, clean, and the bed was comfortable. This hotel is very pet-friendly. We used the fitness center, laundry, and free coffee service. We just wish it went on until 10, instead of 9. "
