Our experience at this property was amazing. It was quiet,clean and nice hot water to shower. Staff was great and specially Glen at the bar. I think that’s his name. He went above and beyond to help us with any questions we had. Everyone was friendly. The view from my room was amazing. Thank you all at Caribbean villas. We left with the best experience ever

Great property, friendly staff, and great coffee shop and bar/restaurant across the street. Would highly recommend. Also, go see happy man for all your tours! We did the reserve and shark alley and it went so smoothly and was so much fun. Pick up and drop off right from the dock on property. If you stay here, you will not be disappointed!

Rooms are dated and noisy. We then got moved to a villa on the same property that was full of ants and cockroaches. Super nice staff, property needs to be overhauled

First time in belize and picked this property because it was on a private beach...the rooms were comfortable the food was good on-site and they offered live entertainment a few nights during our stay...there's no ice machine but the bar always helped us out...I would recommend to anyone visiting belize

This was a last minute booking with this property and I was very happy with everything. Location is out of main town which I wanted, beautiful beach that was cleaned every morning for the sorghum or seaweed. Pools were small but all you need to get wet and lay in pool chair. Everyone was friendly and accommodating.

This place was fine. A bit dated and run down. Pros: layout of the villa was great with kids- they had a loft upstairs space to themselves, restaurant was surprisingly good with large portions, location was convenient especially with the hotel having its own dock for pick ups for snorkel and fishing trips. Cons: there was Jim Croce esque cover band every night for a music festival and we had no warning before booking, air conditioning broke and leaked all over (they fixed it promptly), and aesthetically it wasn’t the prettiest. Overall fine, but I’m unlikely to choose again.

We love how we were greeted, our bag was carried to our room, the staff explained everything to us about the hotel: where to find water, the housekeeping schedule, and hours for the pool and the restaurant. By the way, the restaurant is as good or better than anywhere on the island. Outstanding food, staff, and ambiance.

The staff were exceptional, and very accommodating. They met every request with a positive response. Cab ride arrangements, golf car rental, room change to avoid using the stairs, etc. Happy Man worked closely with us to arrange a snorkeling tour and had good recommendations for restaurants. Menu had variety. There was live music on the weekend. Dog friendly. Everyone was polite. Beautiful sunrises daily. Location was far enough from the noise of the downtown to allow peaceful rest but close enough to be able to go when you want to. Several accomodations nearby are being remodeled. We're ready to book again!

Se spent 5 wonderful nights. The village we had was beautiful 19 steps from the water! The huge kiosk restaurant and food excellent. Workers super friendly and very nice: bartender Glenn, servers Mónica and Iris and Nigel front desk made our vacation very special!

Small room, pictures don't really show what the rooms are like. Ants in the room. I only stayed one night. I would not have stayed there if I was going to be there any longer. Staff was helpful and friendly.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Caribbean Villas Hotel! The staff reached out to us ahead of time to coordinate our arrival at the hotel. Upon our arrival, we found out we had been preemptively upgraded to a villa for a more quiet experience due to the other group that had booked at the hotel. Our villa was superb, right on the beach for gorgeous sunrises. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful with suggestions for local activities and dining options of property. Our villa was spacious and comfortable, and we couldn't have asked for a better stay. It was everything we were looking for and more, and we can't wait to come back on our next trip to Belize!

The staff was very nice. The food was amazing and affordable. Very quiet and serene. The property however has poor Wi-Fi signal and no backup generators for outages. Very low water pressure for the toilets and the chrome on the pipes were stripping.

Thank you for your review. We're really please that you were happy with some aspects of your stay. It is unfortunate that there was an island wide electrical outage during your stay. Generators are not common here except at a few very high end properties. This outage was also the cause of the low water pressure. We're happy to share that our internet service has been completely upgraded and is performing very well.

We loved our stay at Caribbean Vilas!! It was a short 15 min walk into town but peaceful at the resort. Chris, the bartender and server, was very helpful giving us ideas of excursions and best snorkel spots! Plus, they are one of the few hotels that offer suites which allowed our teen son and daughter to have their own space. We will be back!!

Nice, quiet location, about one mile walk to town center, with bars and restaurants along the way. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful . The beach in front of the hotel was wide and was raked, and kept as clean as possible, wind permitting. Always able to get a lounge chair, by the beach or by one of the two pools. The restaurant / bar was very nice, convenient and the food was excellent. The servers / bartenders that we got to know the most [Glenn, Cher and Monica] were great. The pools were very nice. I had heard that pool deck upgrades are pending. [as any homeonwer will attest, the sun can be hard on wood decks.] The rooms were clean and simple. The only thing that I would say, and I hate to say anything negative about this wonderful place, is that the beds could use an upgrade.

Music/band made stay less than relaxing.
There was a music festival going on during our stay and it was not great for having a relaxing down time at the beach. The rooms were nice and clean and simple. But I would have not stayed here had I known I would have to listen to 80's dad rock for 1 whole night and same music on a Sunday afternoon.
