The hotel is old but in a good location. Lots of dinning options and close to Charlottenburg train station. But the elevator was down on the second day of our stay and it still hasn’t been fixed when we checked out. My parents had a hard time climbing up the stairs as they have bad knees.

Staff were very friendly and in a great part of Berlin as you were quite central with a lot of shops, bars and restaurants nearby. The train station was the other side of the block less than 5 mins away and overall we had a great time!

There is nothing anywhere declare your hotel is start from 3 third floor it’s big tribal without lift with the baggage and with the family and no facilities like microwave oven It’s first experience I did not suggest to any body else to live there because this is not hotel in light of hotel necessities nothing

It was fine. We bought breaksfast and it was very good. The only thing I didn't like was we were at 4th floor and they don't have elevator working for long tome... my dad count the stairs and there were 91 steps to get the room... with thw big luggage...

Excellent value Hotel near to the Centre of Berlin
Excellent value for money - well located next to S and U bahn stations. About 20 minutes to the centre of Berlin. Room (single) was well proportioned and in good condition. Good showering / washing facilities. Highlight was the excellent buffet breakfast - a wide selection of items all freshly prepared, something for all tastes

Beds were fine pillows terrible. Our shower was broken and kept coming off the wall and the shower door did close properly so the bathroom kind of flooded every time someone showed. But the staff were really nice and the breakfast good

tad disappointing but staff are lovely!
We didn’t actually have a proper nights sleep when we was there, the pillows weren’t comfortable as they just slid around all night, we probably got just under 24 hours in the 5 nights we was there, plus the two noisy people in the roll near us coming in at a silly hour waking us up when we did finally get to sleep really didn’t help. Breakfast was lovely and the staff was nice. The sheets didn’t seem to have been washed at any point either and when I put the towels where they needed to be to get washed (only once I done this) they were still in that place where I left them even though I read the sign about what to do with them to get them washed! It was okay for what we needed it for but I probably won’t be here again. Oh and within 10 minutes of us having checked in and getting to our room, someone who I assumed worked there just let themselves in with (who seemed to be the electrician or something like that) and thank god I had just finished getting changed! We weren’t pleased by it and made us paranoid every time we was in there and heard someone walking that they would do it again. They didn’t even knock!

Pathetic hotel, no lift to room level, need to take stairs. Facility is not stroller friendly or suitable for family with children. Very old hotel, our room was dusty and smelly. Dont go by the ratings on booking.com. Dont recommend this hotel.

The hotel is in poor repair. It is part of an old building where there is a doctors practice. The room was tiny with no window for ventilation. It had minimal lighting and the bed was damaged. There was mould growing in the shower. Towels were changed every day but looked grey and worn. Also the sheets had seen better days.

Ok for a short stay
Hotel is adequate for a short visit to Berlin. It’s clean but a bit dated and the WiFi is a waste of time. Staff are helpful and welcoming and the breakfast on offer in of good quality. The area seemed safe and busy as it’s in a shopping area with plenty off places to eat.

Hotel Spreewitz is an older building, with carpet that really needs to be replaced. The frustuckbuffet, could be enhanced with more of a variety. On the plus side you generally get what you pay for. Bus service to the city zentrum is extremely available, and with proper planning almost anywhere is available right outside hotel. More variety would, help, with frustuck.

A short stay in Berlin
1. No TV working in the room. Reception advised no TV in the whole hotel for 2 Weeks - says it all really about customer service and undertaking repairs. 2. Room was cold. 1 Radiator in the room stuck up a corner that never got more than just warm. 3. The window "in the room" was up the end of a long narrow corridor in the room, so no natural light on the room. 4. Hotel corridors & landings old and shabby.

The Spreewitz Hotel is a good place to stay,Very friendly helpful staff; the buses & trains are very frequent & there's a variety of restaurants & shops in walking distance.

Reception staff spoke English which was great for me who speaks only a little German. Breakfast was continental style, plentiful and varied. I had a single room on the third floor at the end of a corridor overlooking the carpark, which was quiet giving me great sleeps. A very comfortable stay and I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again.

Perfect area of town to stay in. Shopping street around the corner. Good communications. Walking distance to ZOB. Safe at night. Bed a little hard, room a little dated (if carpet and lamps would be replaced this hotel would feel a lot nicer). No hot breakfast, but perfectly fine anyway. Nice, approachable staff. Keys, not keycards. Well worth the price.

Decent location for the cartlottenburg sbahn station with plenty of restaurants near by. The included breakfast was not as advertised. It was claimed to be a hot and cold buffet breakfast, in reality it was a cold buffet breakfast with a half broken toaster. Excluding the breakfast it's a decent budget hotel to stay in.

We stayed here for 2 nights. Staff at reception were very friendly and helpful. Good Breakfast and good value for money. Rooms are compact and clean but very simple. The location is 20 minutes from the city center and 5 minutes from the zoo. There are plenty of international restaurants and cafes around and shopping centers literally within a 5 minute walk. Perfect location for transport too.

Bad hotel
Its a so called three star hotel with low quality bed mattress and a bad pillow. I had reserved a twin bed for me alone. I line to sleep on big beds. They had prepared half of the bed with one pillow and one single blanket for half of the bed. When I asked for the second pillow they refused!

nice hotel, good location.
when I arrived Berlin( first time), easy to find this hotel, The check-in is quick and the staff could understand English. They are fairly polite, The room is clean and comfortable, The price is reasonable with breakfast buffer. the surrounding is good and all kinds of eating and drinking. especially there is restaurant called Mommfen-Csck, They have 100 beer, and 100% Berliner tradition, The transport nearby is very good, I will stay in this hotel again with my family next time when I visit Berlin.

Die Mitarbeiter geben sich alle Mühe. Leider sind ihnen durch technische Unzulänglichkeiten die Hände gebunden. So bin ich im Fahrstuhl über eine Stunde zwischen 2 Etagen stecken geblieben. Notfalleinweisung 0, owohl Equipment vorhanden war, wusste es niemand. Der Fernseher lief nicht. Erst als aus einem anderen Zimmer eine Fernbedienung geholt wurde, konnte ich wenigstens das 1. und zwei Regionalsender sehen. Das Zimmer war so klein, dass noch nicht einmal ein kleiner Tisch reinpasste
