“Great room for traveling. Loved the microwave, kettle, and fresh water in the common area. Checked in with my 16 year old son, quick trip to grocery store, then wonderful little restaurant downstairs where the kid discovered he loves fish empanadas, ate on the balcony, ordered more empanadas, met the restaurant staffs husband (a tour guide) and got number so next time we are in San Ignacio we go cave tubing, slept well, then up and out early for adventure. Everything one needs to travel through……

“Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads……

“For anyone looking for a small beautiful hidden gem resort close to San Ignacio, I'd highly recommend Villa Massis in Bullet Tree Falls! It's only a quick 10 min drive into San Ignacio. We had a 2-bedroom suite for the 4 of us and it was perfect. We booked airport transportation, transfer to Placencia, several rides into San Ignacio and all of our tours with them. Staff was friendly and went out of their way to help us.”

“Amazing place, guides were incredibly knowledgeable about the land and the Mayan culture. The food was delicious, and the place was just beautiful. Onsite hikes in the rain forest and floating the river in inner tubes are well worth it. Also worth seeing the Mayan ruins and cave exploring were well worth it.”

“It doesn’t look like much from the front but we absolutely loved our stay!!!! We stayed in room 18 and the bed was amazing! The large screen TV after being out all day was nice to come back to. The room was big and comfy! We only had breakfast there and it was so good!!! Love the staff in the restaurant… for the price… so worth it!!!”
