"This place is better than described. It’s cozy and has anything you need for a getaway besides shower supplies. Close to the Mammoth Cave National Park: take the ferry route, is just 20 minutes. We had the chance to see the fireflies just from the deck. It’s lake access, and also this place has copious water gears, including kayaks. Corlynn and Joe are wonderful people, very helpful."

"The hosts were super nice and polite. The house was beautiful in a very serene location. It was perfect for a cozy intimate getaway. If we hadn’t ran into an issue it would have been 5/5 stars. However, we ran into an issue on the first night though that dampened our plans and wasn’t able to be solved until the night of day two (we were leaving at 11 the next morning). The house was amazing and the hosts did get the problem fixed but it was just so late that it didn’t help the overall...

We were looking for something close to mammoth cave and the listing stated 16 minute drive, we couldn’t find that route and it was more like 45 minutes. "This house is in a very peaceful area. House was clean and comfortable. Loved the sunroom. Due to high water levels it was difficult to use the dock. Lost power, but it was restored quickly. Kitchen is nice and well-stocked. Pans are in rough shape. You definitely need to bring food to cook as there is no place close to eat out or get groceries. We enjoyed Nolin Lake State Park and Mammoth Cave State Park. Overall a nice stay."

"Mike thank u for hosting. Great week and weather. Really enjoyed the rental. As disclosed the single BR had us on a schedule but no issues! Lower level access challenging for mobility impaired with stairs. Mike met us on Saturday and gave some Great tips about lake conditions. View without comparison. Well appointed kitchen. Very comfortable beds. Lots Of space. We fish so did not use TV or Wi fi. Would rent with Mike again and Plan too make this place our new annual gathering place."
