We stayed in the small cottage behind the main house from which we could see the harbor through her lovely little flower garden. We only made it to one breakfast but that one was delicious. she was always friendly and helpful.
Donna was a wonderful hostess. She greeted us warmly and really wanted to know a bit about us and what brought us to Boothbay Harbor (an anniversary celebration). Her orientation to our accommodations and the town was very helpful. We stayed in “solitude “, a lovely, separate cottage behind the main house that was perfect for us. We will definitely return to Atlantic Ark in the future.
My wife and I had a great stay at Atlantic Ark Inn. Host Donna is very accommodating; very willing to help with any need. We stayed in the "Tranquility room." The mattress is very, very firm, we told Donna about it and she provided a nice mattress topper that made our night's sleep much nicer. Breakfast was served on weekends on and was very delicious! The harbor view from our bedroom was very nice. Currently there is no fridge or microwave oven in the room but Donna is looking to remedy that in the near future. Overall a very nice place to stay!
Loved having breakfast on the porch and talking to other guests while looking out at a stunning view of the harbor. The room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. Our host Donna was willing to go above and beyond for us. Will definitely stay there again.
Our host Donna was very nice and helpful too! Our room was very clean and tastefully decorated! We were able to walk to town and a yummy breakfast spot from the inn. It was very quiet where we were even though the inn was full! We stayed on the top floor (only available) in a small cozy room which was perfect for my husband and me! Hopefully we can come again! Loved it!!

Ok, but Nothing Special
Unfortunately the Inn only serves breakfast on Sat. and Sun. morning. Owner is very nice, but seems somewhat overwhelmed. We had stayed at the Inn previously and it’s now more like a boarding house rather than a B&B that it was in the past.
If you are looking for a great quiet escape near the town The Atlantic inn is amazing. Our room was immaculate with an amazing view of the Harbor. Thanks Donna
Absolutely perfect stay!
I can not overstate how amazing, not only the Atlantic Ark is, but how incredibly kind and gracious Donna, our host was.
I will never stay anywhere else when in Boothbay. In fact, I can’t wait to go back.
We were in a lovely little cabin. It was quiet, private and cozy. Anne is a wonderful hostess.

The property is a small old historic inn on the main street of Boothbay Harbor, with a very small parking area. The rooms are small and getting to them is up a long steep staircase which is a problem. The bathroom in our room was good, and the breakfast was good.
Small bnb with tons of character - walking distance to town. The breakfast was superb. I really wished it was a little earlier. 9 am usually finds me on the road. But I would stay there again
Staff was terrific, Ann made us feel
Like family coming home for a visit. She was welcoming and friendly. Atlantic Ark is in a great location. Wonderful breakfast.
Donna & her staff were excellent & welcoming hosts.. The property was old but very well kept. It was very convenient to downtown Boothbay Harbor. Only a 10 minute walk.
Breakfasts were wonderfully prepared by Ann. Enjoyed our 5 night stay.
Atlantic Ark Inn was terrific. Very nice accommodations. Friendly staff and excellent breakfasts. Boothbay is a real treat.

We only stayed at this BnB for a couple of nights... our wedding anniversary. We love Boothbay Harbor and have had many wonderful stays at various bnbs and inns. This hotel was located with a “peek” through to the bay and had a nice little porch, although seTing was limited. Parking was cramped for our SUV, and we had to look elsewhere in town to park our (small) kayak trailer. Staff was friendly and the breakfast was very nice.our room however left a lot to be desired - especially the bed. Two twin. Ed’s were pushed together to make a king. Although there was a comforter topper over the mattress for additional padding, the mattress was ancient and in poor condition. We really felt every lump. The room was small, cramped with older furniture that needed painting and not well lit. This Inn seemed to have good ratings (why we chose it), and we really try to give good ratings whenever possible, this was far from a stellar experience.
