There is no shower door and combined with poor drainage, the bathroom floods quite badly. The wet floor becomes really slippery and is quite dangerous. Even though I was being careful, I nearly slipped over a few times. Other than that, a really nice, comfortable property to stop over on our travels through Kalgoorlie.

Paddy’s corner stay
Poorly presented from the outside. Dusty with intermittent rubbish lying around. Overflowing ash tray on the rusty table outside the back door. Greasy oven with tiled floors deserving a good mop. Dirty living room curtain with holes in it. Very uncomfortable mattress on the bed, wife slept on the lounge chair. Shower struggling to spit water. Only three forks available in the cutlery. Also ended the life of one big cockroach who surprisingly had survived the spiders. Altogether an experience worth forgetting.

Comfortable, cozy, clean, had everything we needed and is close to town. Has a secure courtyard for our fur baby while we checked out the sites. Really enjoyed our stay. Thankyou!

A convenient stopover.

Weekend away
Basic unit , had everything needed . Allowed our dog which was a bonus . The draw back was the smell of smoke and copious amount of cigarette butts in the court yard

OK for a short stopover
I chose this accommodation as the only pet- friendly place in the area, and as it was simply for an overnight stop coming to Perth from Melbourne, it was quite suitable. The facilities are adequate, but the premises are looking a little tired. Drivers beware! Neither my car GPS nor Google maps could find the address, but putting in the cross street got us there.

Thank you for having us stay at your property, I have washed the sheets covers etr but did not use the double bed as me and my partner slept on the couch to be near our pups...I have vac & mopped the floors bathroom and toilet are clean..there are 3 towels and a micro fibre cloth in the washing machine that need washing and have picked up all the cigarette butts that were outside the courtyard...

Arrived at around 630pm,m to find that the locking mechanism wouldn’t unlock the door with the code and instructions that the owner had sent us. Tried to call and text the owner several times but no answer or reply. Ended up having to stay in another motel. The owner eventually called me back nearly 3 hours later. Waiting for a full refund.

Suited us ok as we had a little dog. Only disappointment was the smell of cigarette smoke throughout, which made it feel unclean even though it was actually clean. A bit of a way out from town but only a short drive. Bedroom curtains needed to be clipped together for privacy. There was a pedestal fan in bedroom but no extension for it so lucky we had one with us. Otherwise air con in living room struggled to make a difference in the bedroom. All in all it suited us for our one night stop traveling through and suited the price. Thanks.

Quiet and safe, friendly neighbourhood
Easy to access. Walking distance to Boulder entertainment and shopping precinct. Need to drive to get to supermarket. Perfect for our family with a dog.

The property manager was great to deal with given my circumstances travelling with little to no phone signal at times. Met the cleaner she was lovely. Had lots of street room to park our horse float outside. The property was neat, tidy and comfortable.

Small unit, one of four, with a tiny courtyard out the back, and undercover parking. Comfy couch and good connectivity. The unit is in reasonable condition, considering it hasn’t had a reno since the 70s, lol, apart from the carpet & paint. Owners were lovely; very helpful & quick to respond.

Needs a lot of work. Throw out the double bed because the slats fall out on the floor.
The hot water is too hot its a wonder no one has been scalded. The shower taps in the bathtub need replacing, too hard to turn and regulate

Everything you need for what it costs.
We were there prospecting and the unit provided everything we needed. Its a great price and near all amenities. It needs a major overhaul but it would be twice the price. Rod the owner is great to get on with and helpful. We will be back next time we are in town but I hope the young kids next door have passed the screeching stage or better still moved out !! The place is part of a 4 flat complex in a quite street its not a stand alone apartment. Good value for money but really could use a better quality bed, stove and shower. Great aircon, fridge ,washer and drier and TV. See you next year !!

House was very basic. Generally clean, however general maintenance is needed. Badly stained couch, poor lighting, uncomfortable beds, backyard very ordinary and no outside light. However we enjoyed our stay in Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

A good budget choice
Paddy's Golden Patch was well-equipped, quiet, and roomy. It is in the Victory Heights area of Boulder--walkable to cafes and pubs in Boulder but a car is necessary to get to downtown Kalgoorlie.
