parking for guests was being used by golfers which meant parking in the street for some as well as having to carry luggage. Management need to be stricter on guest parking or you will lose potential guests

Lovely sanctuary surrounded by golf course and bushland. Updated rooms are smart and comfortable. Outdoor terrace for drinking and eating.

A beautiful setting and grand old guest house. The in house restaurant was excellent, with very nice food, attentive service and charming environment. The vista across the golf courses from the deck is perfect for predinner drinks. We stayed in a renovated room so it was extremely nice, i understand not all rooms are renovated so you might want to confirm when booking.

We have stayed here a couple of times. We were given a VERY small room, even though the hotel was almost empty. Staff rarely there, Sadly, the place has great possibilities but very tired. It was a Sunday night, no food available. Kettle in the room didn't work properly. Everything so crowded. Staff didn't seem to care.

The room is new renovation and plenty of space. This is a family room and very clean . But you can hear the noise from next room and the hall way . Restaurants ok maybe not enough staff ! The price just for 3 adults nearly $ 400 for just one night only. May be not next time 😕

Staff are great. Old part of hotel is comfortable but dark, dreary. New refurb is looking excellent. Location is very lovely.

I think it was last painted in 1934. The standard rooms have Double beds. Our room was cold. There was no phone in the room which was upstairs. No lift. No table or work surface or comfortable chair. The deal offered for meals and bed was limited - main plus one other course for dinner - and expensive when you look at the quality of what was offered. You couldn't use the Bar after dinner as all of the outside furniture had been bought in and stacked there. I would never stay there again.

Great location and staff. Have stayed here before and love the old world vibe although our room was a little old and tatty. Service is great, friendly and attentive. And love the golf course, with another fantastic course (Mt Broughton) 5 mins down the road.

Dormie house is in a great location. If you're into golf, its an ideal setup, being directly adjacent to Moss Vale Golf Course.

The staff were excellent and very friendly, the restaurant food was excellent, the only downside was a alarm beeping sound coming from outside of our room which kept us up all night (horrible sleep)

Pros: Good levels of parking out front. Comfortable beds and clean linen Decent customer service Cons: Room is quite small Showers needed a proper cleaning - grout and shower door were filthy Most importantly, the security is very lax - no video cameras in common areas or parking lot, so it won't be clear who broke what if it were tk happen. Entrance doors are made of glass with single locked door that doesn't pull shut on its own.

It is a lovely location and has great potential. However, they are currently renovating so very noisy. Room was the dirtiest I have ever encountered. Carpet had never been cleaned and was badly soiled. Bathroom white vanity plug was covered in dirt and more. Property needs a good manager with hotel experience to spot check cleanliness of rooms and common areas and more.

Accommodation was sub standard. Rooms were in need of renovating. On suite was not up to standard, entry door could not be closed. No exhaust fan. Room was noisy and constant water dripping noise could be heard. I would not recommend this property on our experience. Dormie house bar and dining staff very friendly and helpful.

Dormie House is quite unique if you like old buildings and love golf. The room we had was very small and the bathroom were both very dated. Bed was comfy and he room was clean

The dinner was top quality and the staff that night very friendly and helpful however we were told that night that we couldn’t have dinner in the restaurant as they wanted to set up for the next day. We had booked in for breakfast the next day and sat in the dining area where advised. We sat alone for quite some time before someone came in. We had to ask for menus and ordered some coffee. It was cold and uninviting and it didn’t help that nobody else was there. The coffee came and it was awful. We decided not to stay for breakfast as the experience was pretty ordinary and nobody was bothered enough to ask us why. We would never recommend this place to anyone. For the price we paid we would expect much more!

We loved the old quaintness of the house and property plus the staff were welcoming friendly efficient and professional. The meals were delicious and enjoyable. Although we loved the quaintness and comfort of the room, we found that the walls were paper thin and the noise from the other tenants was not pleasant.
