New front porch with high-top table and chairs to enjoy the view of the Bridgers. The kitchen includes granite countertops and under-counter washer and dryer for your convenience. Laminate flooring and ceramic tile throughout. Foyer entry for shedding those muddy boots, small back porch for your Montana cooler if you desire. Close to the Tuesday farmer's market, next door to the bowling alley if you desire a frame or two with a cold brew. The host was welcoming, responsive, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved being so close to restaurants, shopping, parks, walking trails, and all the other great stuff Bozeman has to offer. I spent the whole month of September and didn't want to leave. I loved the quick one block walk to Main Street where there are so many options to choose from when it comes to shopping and eating. My other walks through the neighborhood were terrific. I often walked with my little dog five blocks down Olive Street over Bozeman Creek to Ghost Town Coffee Roasters. Bozeman Creek flows right underneath Olive Street and some of the historic buildings on Main Street. Also just a block away (South on Babcock), you'll find a French Bakery and the Little Star Diner. Make a reservation at the diner because the food was delicious. The house was clean when I arrived, everything worked, and the bed was very comfortable. The house was clean and comfortable with cozy beds. Great communication with host. Had no problem finding street parking close by. Upstairs AC kept sleeping temps comfortable upstairs and helped downstairs as well. None of the windows have screens so it was a little unnerving leaving the windows on main floor open at night but it was also a must to cool the house down overnight on hot days. Nobody was occupying the second house on the property in the backyard, which gave us more privacy. Blankets were dirty, heating system needs to be improved. There was no heat in the living room or kitchen. Only two registers were in bathroom and main bedroom. No extra bathroom hand towels. For this price and location we expected more. Light above cooktop was inoperable so was very dark when cooking. Just needs some TLC. Proximity to downtown is amazing and it’s a good walk or a short drive to campus.
