Step back in time at Fort Clark Springs, where you can swim in a historic spring-fed pool and explore cavalry-era buildings. Movie buffs shouldn't miss Alamo Village, the film set where John Wayne's 'The Alamo' was shot.

John Wayne had this built on Happy Shanahan's Ranch just north of Bracketville TX. Replica of the Original Alamo. Only this one is facing East. So I was able to capture the early morning light. I spent three days and two nights photographing the grounds, during a full moon.
