Now this is a true Breckenridge treasure: A high-end, designer furnished vacation home just 75 yards from the slopes at the base of Peak 8\. Everyone in your family or group will be impressed by this home’s impeccable style, amenities and walk-to-the-slopes location. And they’ll be impressed with you for finding the perfect spot for a mountain vacation! Boulder Ridge Haus features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and sleeping for up to 12 guests. And with two master suites and a multilevel layout, it’s perfect for multiple families to share. On the main level, the great room offers a spacious area to gather, with vaulted wooden ceilings, large picture windows and plenty of comfortable seating. There’s a floor-to-ceiling river-rock fireplace and a large flat-screen TV — perfect for those long, relaxing evenings in the mountains. Just off the living area, the gourmet kitchen is a chef’s dream, with top-of-the-line appliances, custom cabinetry, granite countertops and slate flooring. The spacious dining area features wraparound windows and seating for up to eight at the main table; there’s also seating for six at the kitchen island. Upstairs, there’s a spacious master suite with vaulted ceilings, a king bed, a flat-screen TV, a large private bathroom and a spectacular view of the Peak 8 ski slopes. Off this room, there’s a sitting area with a twin trundle bed for extra guest sleeping. On the main level, the second master suite offers a king bed, a full private bathroom and French doors to the back deck. There’s also a charming queen bedroom on this level with a full bathroom that also serves as the guest hall bathroom. Downstairs, you’ll find a large family room with another fireplace and LCD-TV, as well as lots of great seating. The fourth bedroom is on this level and features two bunk beds (four twins) — the kids will love it! Outside, there’s a beautiful deck area with views of ski slopes, table and outdoor seating, a gas barbeque and — you guessed it — a large private hot tub. Other upscale amenities include a washer and dryer on main level, a one-car heated garage with extra parking in the driveway, and complimentary Wi-Fi throughout the home. Great location! Easy trek to the slopes/bars/restaurants/town. Plenty of space for 3 families (all of the kids were males so we could put them all in the bunk room). No matter how cold it was outside, the house was warm! The property mangers were great with quick responses to any inquiries. The office for the property management company was at the base of the road, so it was easy to grab extra supplies. Our only true “complaint” was there was no pizza cutter! We went hiking one morning, and into town the next. It was equal distance from each! The scenery was lovely and the fireplace was a fantastic hangout at night. My only complaint is the windows in the master bedroom did not open so it got a little stuffy. The jacuzzi was great after a day on the slopes, and drive into town was easy and close. House had heated tiles! We would love to stay here again. We would only recommend easier access to speakers to play music, maybe add a yoga mat (the great room/bedrooms and balcony during the warmer season are great areas for a little stretching), updating the coffee maker since it wasn’t working properly, noting where the light switches are for one side of balcony and sink disposal since we couldn’t find them. Lastly, stocking with better and more quality bath products would have made our stay ideal. It was comfortable and in a perfect location. We walked to peak 8 every day - about 5-10mm walk depending if you’re carrying your skis. Kids stayed in the room downstairs with bunk beds, which is a suite with its own playroom. The otnee 3 bedrooms were very comfortable and had their own bathrooms. Heating was working well and the floor I’m the kitchen is heated too. The main family room was comfortable and warm. There were 24 of us (in two houses), converging in Breckenridge from California, Connecticut, Florida, and Texas. Lots of comfortable, informal space and activities, in the house and in the local community, for all generations to have fun and get to know each other. I was the lone representative of the fourth generation. All of the wonderful memories, large and small, will warm my heart for the rest of my days! It was very well equipped with all the kitchen supplies and amenities.
