A very comfortable getaway close to city!
Our family of 8 with 2 pets had an amazing time staying over in this very well stocked, secluded and very scenic house! Mandy and her team thought of almost everything under the sun to stock up in this house, and in generous amounts! She was always available to answer our questions and help of any was needed. Do expect low water pressure and some Wi-Fi slowdowns as it is on lake and in the outskirts or city! Otherwise it was a wonderful stay especially over the New Years’s eve to watch all the fireworks over the lake! Thank you Mandy :)

Perfect retreat!

Extended Family Get Together
Perfect place for a family get together. Lots of areas for the kids to play. All of the necessities (paper towels, toilet paper, etc) were provided plus extras like everything needed to make s’mores at the fire pit and popcorn for the popcorn machine!

Grandparents Weekend
Wonderful weekend with grandparents and grandkids. We were able to play board/card games, roast marshmallows, hike, fish, cook dinners, grill and spend time together as a family. Wonderful 3 day weekend, thank you for having us.

Beautiful well stocked amazing property!
This property is all you could want for a fun relaxing getaway with plenty of space, bathrooms, fun things to do for a large family! Everything is well thought out and well stocked in the kitchen, game room, outdoors, etc; so many thoughtful amenities provided by the owners! Beautiful home with great views! We highly recommend this amazing home!!

BEAUTIFUL FAMILY LOCATION
WE AS FAMILY STAY AT LEAST ONCE A YEAR IN VRBO PROPERTIES. WE HAVE DOGS A SMALL CHILD AND A HANDICAP INDIVIDUAL SO PROPERTIES ARE DIFFICULT TO FIND THAT FIT OUR NEEDS. THIS PROPERTY WAS PERFECT FOR US. THE SPACE WITH FENCING FOR THE DOGS WAS A GREAT HELP AND OUR 18 MONTH OLD COULD PARTICIPATE IN "LETTING OUT THE DOGS" WHICH HE LOVES. THE ROOMS ARE LAID OUT WELL FOR ADULT COUPLES AND HAVE ON SUITES FOR ALL BUT ONE ROOM. THERE ARE 2 ROOMS ON GROUND LEVEL THAT MADE HANDICAP ACCESS EASIER. THE OUTDOOR SPACES HAVE INCREDIBLE VIEWS. THE PARKING WAS GOOD FOR 3 . THE WALK TO THE DOCK IS A CHALLENGE BUT DOABLE AT A SLOW ASSISITED PACE NOT W/C OR WALKER . WE BROUGHT AN EASY UP TENT FOR SHADE AND SEVERAL LARGE RIVER TUBES THAT WERE PERFECT FOR PLAYING OFF THE DOCK. BOATS TO RENT HERE ARE OUTRAGELY PRICED. THE COMMUNICATION WAS PROMPT AND EFFECTIVE. WE DO QA AFTER AND OUR STAY AND EVERYONE IN OUR PARTY WANT TO COME BACK NEXT YEAR.

Family Vacation with Friends. 4.8 would be my overall rating if possible
We enjoyed our stay at the property. It's a nice, updated house with a beautiful view of Lake Bridgeport. The accommodations were great, the property was clean, well appointed and very thoughtful to their guests. One suggestion is to have a shaded option on the dock and possibly paddleboards or a kayak. The dock appears to be fairly new and is great for swimming and fishing, but on a hot summer day, there is nowhere to hide from the sun. An umbrella or pop up tent would be a good option to include so guests could enjoy the dock more. While the lake was clean and clear, the options for boat rental are minimal and the quality of rental options are poor. Also note, the neighboring properties to get to this house are pretty run down, but this house stands out in terms of its' updates and quality. The property managers were great to work with and even accommodated a later check out when requested. If you have a boat and want a good option on Lake Bridgeport, I would definitely recommend even though the pricing may be on the high side of things.

Thanks so much for the feedback! We are planning to add a shaded deck with lounge chairs at the waterfront. We work with a local hunting and fishing guide service that takes guests out on the lake in either a bass boat or pontoon boat. He has multiple guides, so both boats are usually available for our guests. He offers a full concierge service to help you plan and enjoy your stay, including daily maid service, airport shuttle, and lake adventures to suite every age group.

The house was beautiful and we loved the beautiful windows with the view of the lake. The owners were great with communicating and giving us the information we needed. They even shipped us a pkg when we left behind a few items. The place was clean and very homey. They thought of so many things to help you enjoy your stay. Our grandkids loved the bubbles! Thanks!

Incredible home and service!
We stayed over spring break and LOVED IT! It was exactly what our family needed. The house fit us all perfectly and so comfortably. The lake is beautiful! We spent a lot of time fishing and just enjoying time on the dock, but in between, we barbecued, played pool, played games, cooked and made lifelong memories. We had people ages 3-60 and every one of them had an amazing visit. When we left, we realized my son forgot his blanket on the top of one of the bunks. This devastating to him and the service we received to be able to retrieve the blanket was amazing. They were understanding, patient generous and kind. I could go on forever about the amazing experience we had, but the best way to know is to experience it yourself. I highly recommend you book your next vacation here. You won't regret it!

This home was fabulous! The location is great, very peaceful with lots of outdoor space to enjoy. Room for large groups, very tastefully decorated and well stocked. We loved the popcorn machine, pool table, and board games. We will definitely stay here again!

Great rental for a family gathering
We had 13 family members come for Thanksgiving. It was great to be together under one roof. The house was clean and spacious. The upstairs master suite was spectacular. The young boys loved the bunk bed room and the popcorn machine. The house is situated at the end of a dirt road and up on a rocky cliff area of the lake. While the kids all made it down to the dock a few times, I would not have attempted to walk down the stone steps that far. The owners were very accessible. We really enjoyed this house and our stay.

Lovely place
The property is beautiful!! The remodel is perfect! Outside is gorgeous! 10/10 for that! Couldn’t have imagined anything better! Great communication with the owners as well. I do think it’s a tad over priced….. The room that is advertised as a king bed with a twin bunk above it- the king is 2 twins pushed together. Which I think is fine, but it should be written that way. We we’re planning a family in that room and they were a little hesitant about the 2 twins. We had an experience with a fire alarm. It needed new batteries and was alarming every 9 mins at 1am. That was very stressful and scary until we figured out how to disarm it at 3am. Ultimately, it was a great stay and we’d rent it again! Very nice!

Spotless and Luxurious with Incredible Views
This property is absolutely amazing. The layout of the home is perfect for large groups with multiple generations. There are many indoor and outdoor spaces for entertaining and we never felt like we were on top of each other. The owners of this rental have impeccable design and it's obvious that they've put a lot of thought into selecting the bedding, linens, appliances, fixtures, etc. I wasn't expecting to experience such luxury in little ol' Bridgeport, Texas! The property itself is peaceful and quiet with fabulous views of the lake. We brought kayaks and had a great time fishing off the dock. This place would be the ideal rental for girl's weekends, spiritual retreats, yoga retreats (they have a yoga room upstairs!), wedding parties, family reunions, guy's weekends, fishing trips...you name it. We LOVE it and will be back soon.

Beautiful Spacious Lake House
This house has it all. Large living space with pool table. Love love love the kitchen! Enough space for everyone to have there own room and privacy. We spent most of our time out on the new dock swimming and fishing and boy did we catch a lot of fish. The host was wonderful and so quick to respond to my questions. Definitely will be saving to my favorites.
