“Overall met expectations. AC is not centralized, but 3 separate window units that the fan ran continuously even when temperature not set as low. No on-site laundry. Fridge had freezer burn rolls left inside that had odor, small amount of leaf debris. Access to cleaning supplies kind. Binder of instructions for guest expectations significant with understanding of past abuses by guests regarding pets and body fluids. I have a disabled child who is sensitive to noise and am accustomed to……

“It was good. The only negatives were that the hot water was inconsistent and the air conditioning was noisy.”

“Lovely house, clean and spacious for the two of us, but could easily sleep more. The backyard with the hot tub, beautiful view, sunsets and patio chairs and grill were enjoyed each night we were there. Easy communication with owner. We enjoyed the countryside and trip to Shipshewana.C. Thetford”

“Great experience and cannot say enough positive things about the home! It had everything we needed for our family for the weekend.”

“This was one of the best properties we have ever stayed at; the pictures don't do justice to the size of a couple of the rooms (bigger than expected, especially with main bathroom) and just loved everything about our stay. Fridge was spotless upon arrival and kitchen had everything we needed; cleaning had been done thoroughly throughout house, as well. Hot tub was ready and heated and communication with Todd (host) was thorough but not overwhelming. Everything was very well appointed; not……

“Your house is cozy, super clean and was perfect for our stay to Shipshy flea market and downtown shopping! The pictures were so accurate as to how it looks! And Jo Ellen responded so quick! Thank you! Great girls trip!!”

“Would say it's worth checking out if you're driving through this part of South Dakota, solid option indeed!”

“This was a lovely two bedroom home, very clean, and near the shops in Shipsewana. There was a long enough driveway for 2-3 cars. We sat in the chairs in the front of the house in the evening and watched quite a few buggies with Amish families trot by. They would wave to us which was fun. I would recommend this place to stay.”

“Because of holiday family plans, arrival at the property was much later than anticipated. Despite that, the property manager kindly met family members as they arrived late in the evening to welcome them and assist. We certainly felt that was going above and beyond the norm. The historic home is lovely.”

“This place is great for a getaway with friends. It’s in a peaceful cul de sac and on the water. There are convenient places to shop and eat. We enjoyed grilling out, and having conversations in the comfortable sitting rooms. We had everything we needed!”

“It was quite and peaceful… beautiful setting… loved the tiny house”
