“The breakfast buffet was the best part of the stay. We received a room with a view of air conditioning condensers and kitchen exhaust fans. The door in the bathroom had a stain from where wet towels were hung by previous guests. The facility was under renovation which is understandable, but the work stared at 7:00am. Definitely not the best for any guest trying to have a relaxing stay. I went to the front desk to check out and asked for a receipt. I was told the receipt would be emailed. Sixteen……

“We had a great stay at the Farmstead Inn. The room was very clean and every day they came in to clean and give us fresh towels. The free breakfast was great. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The housekeeping left us a personal message everyday. We will be staying there every time we go to Shipshewana.”

“This facility was a good value for a quick one night stay. Nothing fancy, just clean, comfortable and economical. Breakfast was adequate but hot items were not ready as posted for our early departure time.”

“The property was a nice and fairly clean motel. The breakfast was adequate but pretty thin on offerings- sub- par considering other 3-4 start motels I've stayed. They need a better deodorizer for the rooms as mine smelled musty or "pickley". Everything else was fine considering what I paid for. Also, considering how few people were staying there the days I was there, it seems like they wouldn't need to fill rooms directly over each other making the noise issue above unnecessary. “The staff was very friendly and helped us with our late night check-in. They were very accommodating while we waited for our rental car to be ready in the afternoon. The free continental breakfast was exactly as expected, hot eggs and sausage; baked goods, cereal, and oatmeal. ”

“Nothing for breakfast except coffee. Door on room did not fit well, allowing visible cracks that showed hallway. Sure seems like someone is living there as the food odors were very strong (and not good) at the same time each night. Check-in took too long, and check-out was even longer. People hanging around lobby during check-out made it very strange and the clerk said nothing so I assume they were related. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.”
