This is a safe, clean, well-maintained hotel with friendly staff. Additionally, the restaurant in the hotel is excellent. The fried goat cheese over multicolored beet roots appetizer is amazing.

Elegant interior, generous room, well thought out extras, relaxing areas, fantastic staff. A proper hotel, not some B&B masquerading as one as has become the norm. Highly recommended.

The Grandezza is a wonderful hotel with wonderful staff in the ideal location to enjoy all of the beauty that Brno has to offer - I highly recommend you stay here and be sure to try to get a room with a balcony overlooking the square - especially during the Christmas market time

HOTEL GODNY POLECENIA
Świetna lokalizacja hotelu, Bardzo podobała się nam architektura wnętrz hotelu: lobby, restauracja i pokoje. Hotelowe śniadanie klasyczne i podobne do innych czeskich hoteli w podobym standardzie. Wadą jest brak własnego parkingu, a przed hotelem jest tylko kilka miejsc postojowych.

Our stay at Grandezza was perfect from start to finish. The location is superb with lovely views of the cathedral, The staff are super friendly and professional, the room was so lovely and felt luxurious with high ceilings and a huge bed. The breakfast is delicious! There was only one downside and that waa having to leave this oasis! A must stay when in Brno

Imimn ( spelling) the Albanian Hotel Man was quick, accommodating and gracious …a true credit to the Hotel and gave 5 star service…warm, unlike most people we met in Brno. The junior suite on the 5 th floor was lovely..breakfast was substantial. The front desk ladies on the morning shift were warm and friendly..happily not aloof like the ladies that checked us in. They assisted in making train reservations, and contacted me when I left my IPad charger, Would recommend Clean and classic.

very friendly staff hotel is located in the heart of Brno with great bars and restaurants nearby. The former bankbuilding has gotten s as new usage as a fine and excellent hotel

Good service until complication - then it switches
to post communist style. "We make the rules here and you, customer, shut up and accept what we do". Arrival fine, nice gentlemen offered to park the car. Full stop. On departure we learned that you have to request the card 1/2 hour before you need it. Not a nice surprise, but we went to their Cosmopolis cafeteria (also partially communist style service - see separate review Cafe Cosmopolis) and returned 1/2 hour later. But! - nobody went to pick-up the car. Whilst we waited again, another customer came asking about his car. It was not ready either. He pointed out that he requested pick-up an hour ago - so even the prior advance request does not work - though there were two guys apparently dealing with car parking. (BTW the underground garage is about 2 mins away from the hotel - so if the park there......) In both cases the staff responses were "I don't care, it's ok, relax, take it easy and wait". I asked for reception manager - the lady that responded initially also did not react correctly, but in the end she refunded 1 day parking fee and apologised. And the hotel? Well, if you like very dark/dismal, very brown, days gone by, decor, you might find it impressive. I did not. I would not go back - regardless of the car parking "service" and partially snotty general "service"

Stylový pohodlný hotel v centru Brna. Velmi milý a ochotný personál. Oceňuji pána, co ma nastarosti parkování aut. Byl skvělý a snažil se nám maximálně vyjít vstříc. Pohodlné postele, výborná snídaně. Moc rádi se sem vracíme.

We came to Brno for a weekend, to visit Villa Tugendhat. First time in the city, and we didn’t really know what to expect. We arrived very late at night, and it was an easy taxi ride to the hotel, where we received a very warm welcome. Excellent service from all staff during our stay, and everyone speaks good English. The hotel is very central, in a beautiful square, and there is a fruit and vegetable market there on Saturdays. Breakfast was excellent, and very inexpensive, but there are also many cafes and restaurants in the area. Brno is a small and walkable city, and not heaving with tourists, which was a pleasant surprise, as we were there in high season. It’s a good stopover en route to Vienna, which is only 90 minutes away by train. Our room was very large and comfortable, with a lovely big bathroom. Very happy we chose to stay here, as it’s a lovely hotel, in a great location, with charming, helpful staff. Highly recommend staying at Hotel Grandezza

Awesome location for all your needs
The hotel is perfectly located on Market Square, a short walk from the train station, and the other sites in the old town. The rooms are very nice, and offer some very nice views. The restaurant was very good, and offered a delicious breakfast. The staff was very welcoming and professional.

This is a nice hotel in a great location. We walked (5min) with our luggage from the train station. All were very friendly and attentive. We had an issue with the room cleaning staff that was (thankfully) resolved. Brno is a very interesting city with wonderful architecture. If we’re ever near it again we will be sure to return.

Nice clean hotel with lovely staff and nice cafe. Rooms could be cozier (a picture on a wall would be nice). There is no lobby/bar/cafe- nowhere to lounge and relax. There is only a sit-up cafe and a vast empty reception. Breakfast is very nice in the cafe with a view of the square.

A marvel of a hotel right in the city centre, classy design, friendly staff, very clean rooms. Unfortunately the room was incredibly hot, even with the radiator turned off, which made it next to im possible to get any sleep. I told the clerk at the reception about it.
