Nothing fancy, but a cozy & comfortable 2 bedroom cabin 5 miles west of Bryson City and convenient to area attractions such as Deep Creek National Park and tubing, Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, Fontana Lake fishing and water sports, Nantahala River whitewater rafting and kayaking, Harrahs Casino, Cherokee museums and shows, area shopping, Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Mingus Mill, and fishing on the reservation and area rivers.

Clean, but thats about it..
Clean, but unkept yard...the fridge kept sounding like some one was breaking into the place. The house needs some minor repairs....and the yard needed mowing at the very least. The porch needs grip tape or anti skid because when it rains its as slick as ice......but price being what it is...you get what you pay for.

Far from the maddening crowd
We were blown away with the setting, far enough from the beaten path that all you could hear was the wind in the trees. The sunsets and sunrises were to die for. There were many places within driving distance that you could visit if the quietude of sunsets and sunrises are not enough.

Was not as good as seemed in picture! Cut down tree was in the yard! Porch did not seem too safe! The inside was not too good! Bathroom bad shape! We did not even stay 2 nd night we had booked ! We were just too tired to go anywhere else first night so we had to stay! I just don’t think people should charge that price for that place!

Major Disappointment
Cabin looked like it was still being renovated. Very inconvenient location; total darkness on the mountain road. Not even a porch light left on & we were expected. Fridge is very loud when recycling, missing glass covers over ceiling fixtures. Dryer not connected to outside exhaust...lint on walls & behind dryer. Fire hazard! Dirty bedside fixtures(bulbs encrusted!) & bathrm ceiling vent. Appeared to be (black?) mold under shower faucet handles. Way overpriced, but not worth it at any price!!

Had a good time in Bryson. Nice small cabin BUT it was very dusty like it has not been cleaned in at least 3 months. I wonder what is the cleaning fee used for? Will not be staying there again.

Great weekend getaway
Great place for a weekend away! Everything we needed to cook meals, eat on the porch and have a fire outside! Heating was sufficient, bathroom was sufficient, plenty of hot water. Easy to find with the host’s detailed directions even at 11pm. Plenty of DVDs and VHS tapes to keep you entertained in the evenings. Cell reception was adequate, not going to be able to stream anything, but can text and check social media. Nothing fancy but would def recommend and would come back!

Nice out of the way place to stay, beautiful sunsets, only issue is we paid for cleaning and we had to do the dishes, gather all the used linens to sit beside the washer and we had to take are trash with us. We paid a $170 for cleaning fee. What's left to clean??? Sent 2 emails asking about the property before checking and never got a response to either email.

Perfect pet friendly get away
Everything was lovely and the surroundings were quiet. We did a lot of sightseeing so I just really need a few beds and a place that allowed my dog to stay the night and this ended up being cheaper than surrounding hotels during the fall season. The dog mochi was a family favorite but she scared me in the night when we got there. She's super sweet and just kind of guards the area. I would still come here again!

We enjoyed our visit at the mountain house it was a beautiful drive to the house and friendly dogs that like to come for a visit while we were there. The yard could have been mowed and cleaned up per our arrival, the sleeper couch needed a good cleaning as well thats the only issues we had, everything else was great. Thank you, Andrea
