Long time buffalo resident my parents have a small home so we cannot all stay there so I usually stay in hotels when I bring my family. I watch that hotel go up many years ago. I’m sure initially it was very clean and nice now it is run down. The room We stayed is number 102. The biggest complaint was the pull out couch mattress was filthy. It looked like a crime scene. Four of us stayed in that room. I had two double beds in the main area that were quite uncomfortable. The overall design of the room is terrible. The bathroom sink area has no door so when you turn on the light in the morning, everybody Has to get up in that room. Ideally, one of us would’ve slept on the couch so we could spread out more in the hotel room, but because of the filth of the mattress that was impossible. The couch itself you cannot sit on because the center had just sunken in . Just the whole room with rundown scuff marks on the wall tears on the carpet it did not appear to be fixed up or updated in about 20 years. The front desk staff, however, were very nice and there’s no point arguing or complaining to these young college age people who are working the front desk. Generally, this is a failure at the corporate level or the ownership level. Place needs to be updated. It is in a prime location in Buffalo in the town of williamsville. When we arrived, it was very late at night, so we stayed the one night and left the next day. If it was earlier, I would’ve left.
