The property was very small and needed work, it was clean, however it was right on the pavement, and people walking past could look in.

Wasn’t impressed that I got there at 2 to be told that room wouldn’t be ready until 3…that abit unfair when patrons pay their money and would be booted out at 10am! Other than that the room was very clean when I arrived back so can’t complain about that at all. Would stay again if needed…

Close to town, self-contained
Two-storey house/apartment walking distance to town. Very clean and well-appointed except for a couple of kitchen items which we worked around (large bowl for salad, dish drainer). The lounge area upstairs was very comfortable, and we could see the ocean. We knew there were steps to the bedrooms, but if you're getting on a bit you may wish to avoid. They are very steep and treads are narrow. Carport very small but we found parks outside. Can recommend.

Great location..Reasonable cost. Washing machine and dryer supplied free. Easy parking at front door. Large fridge. Old kitchen but well appointed. Toilet upstairs and downstairs. Would not recommend this property if you have a problem with stairs. The internal stairs to the bedrooms and bathroom is very steep.

The property its self is beautiful, clean, located walking distance to shops and the beach, everything extra was thought of in the apartment. The apartment is situated a street from the main highway, this nosie was not bad, however each night you can hear people in the street talking. The staircase is very steep and does not suit a family with young children.

Excellent accommodation. Unfortunately no extra toilet paper was provided. Parking was a bit far from accommodation making loading a a van with 6 people’s suitcases a chore.

Central location in Burnie. Good sized bedrooms, comfy beds - small living area if you have 6 people, but fine for us - we were mainly out all day. Kitchen seated us all no problem and good sized fridge and freezer. We did wash up the crockery/cutlery before we used it, as it was a bit greasy, but that happens in these self-contained places. Good laundry facilities, including laundry liquid. Despite being across the road from the port, noise wasn't a problem - the windows sealed out most of the traffic/port/nearby pub noise. There was a carpark backing onto the building which seemed to be a hang-out area (drinking/smoking) for a group of people at night while we were there? Wouldn't feel safe letting kids go out on their own. The apartment's car parking space was a short walk (1 minute - around the corner and across the road) to another car park nearby - not ideal, but okay. The only issue we had was that we had no hot water, which we reported after our first night. The manager responded quickly and was trying to get a plumber in while we were there, but no luck. Luckily for us, it was warm weather during our stay and a cold shower wasn't as bad as it might have been! We weren't brave enough to use the spa though, which the kids would have enjoyed. Overall a great place to stay if you're looking to base yourself in Burnie.

The property was affordable, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. Although there were very steep stairs so not good for travelling with elderly or small children. Location wasn’t great!! Very noisy upstairs in the bedrooms being right on the highway and directly across from the docks. Overall our stay was pleasing.

Lovely apartment, dreadful location. Directly opposite the docks with heavy equipment operating loudly until mid evening then starting again at 6 am even on a Sunday. And when the machinery stopped a nearby club or party started up with doof doof music until the early hours and gangs of marauding noisy teenagers roaming the streets outside our windows.

A perfectly appointed and spacious apartment for our family of four. Everything we needed was there, including washing machine and dryer. The communication was excellent. The only let-down was the noise from the nearby shipping dock from about 3am onwards.

The property itself was nice with lots of space. Minor issue, but the entry hallway carpet could be replaced. The security into the building could be improved, currently it requires the users to ensure they lock the external door to the building, this should happen automatically. The room smelled very strongly of cleaning product, needed an air- it was making me sneeze. The biggest issue by far was the noise. All night we could hear very heavy machinery, metal scraping, trucks etc from the docks, directly outside our room. There are street lights directly outside the bedrooms, which the blinds don't block out. Needless to say we had no sleep all night, as a result we wouldn't stay there again, and wouldn't recommend anyone else staying there either. Need to fix the noise through soundproofing the bedrooms!!!!

Horrible location.
We reached the property only to find that the allocated parking spots were being used by someone else. Had to pay and park for a couple of hours before someone moved their car. The apartment block us bang opposite the port and cargo railway line. From 4:00am the loud clanking of the cranes and trains loading starts at the port and that is the end of your sleep. There is no mention of this when you book this property and comes as a complete shock when you try and get some sleep.

Cute little apartment in a good location. However, unfortunately the air conditioner was extremely noisy, didn’t really warm up the apartment. Also, the TV did not work very well! Very few channels were accessible. Really disappointing - this is why I did not extend my stay.

Take earplugs! Across the road from the port that operates at night extremely noisy with a short break after midnight but picks back up at 5am. Ground floor room is basically an old shop front with no insulation from street noise.
