"We had a great experience while staying here. We had booked the two cottages for my mum's surprise birthday and I have a large family. This was a great place to do this as there was a pool which entertained us all and enough space that you weren't in each other's space. It had beautiful views and a hiking tail right on the doorstep for anyone interested in a lovely walk. It wasn't far to get to local shops/bars/pubs. I would stay here again"

"The location is close to many white peak walks. The accommodation is very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen and two bathrooms with powerful showers. Jo, the owner welcomed on arrival and was incredibly helpful when we needed her advice. Will certainly look to visit again"

"6 adults (2 at 20) & dogs , one little & one medium . The cottage was better than expected , the pictures online are good but it’s even better when you are there . Really nice village & the local pub was great , we went twice and ate one night , food was delicious. It takes just 5 mins walk to the pub . Right next to a park and the river 3 mins walk ."

"The cottage is cosy, comfortable and easy to live in. The location is beautiful and secluded with a lovely little village only a few minutes drive away. Plenty of things to do within a few miles drive and lots of walking. Jo, the host, is welcoming and very helpful. We were 3 friends catching up and had a thoroughly enjoyable stay although the weather was very windy and we had rain and snow showers so couldn’t make the most of the outdoor space. "My stay was not a holiday,it was a quick visit to attend a funeral in a nearby village and the advantage was that we could bring out two border collies and it was great that we could walk the them nearby."
