“Wir haben eine Woche vor Ostern in La Gaude verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist so wie beschrieben und sehr sauber.Der Garten und Pool sind sehr schön und konnten mit benutzt werden. Leider hatten wir ungewöhnlich viel Pech mit dem Wetter, haben aber die Tage gut für Ausflüge und Museen nutzen können. Die Vermieter wohnen im gleichen Haus oben und sind unglaublich gastfreundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Sie haben die Kinder mit Spielen versorgt und uns Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung gegeben!……

“Pros: We received a warm welcome from the amiable host to their lovely home, full of personal touches. The peaceful garden (with visiting hoopoes!), beautiful scenery and wonderful pool invited us to relax in between exploring many places of interest (by car).”

“The property was spacious, comfortable and immaculately clean. There was a lack of mugs for cups of tea and hot drinks. The property could probably do with a bit of updating. We loved the town of St Cezaire, so picturesque with plenty of places to eat. Our one huge disappointment was the distance to the pool. The listing states that the pool is 50 metres away so, we assumed that this meant it was at the bottom of the garden. However, it was actually 2 properties away, a distance of over 200……

“We had planned this trip around my husbands 70th birthday for our family of 10 adults and 2 small children to join us at a special place we could all be together. It was booked in January for arrival in August. The photos on the website were vastly different to how things actually looked and worked. There was no mention of the fact that the downstairs bedrooms were a bit of a dungeon. No air conditioning, and the only windows were filthy and dusty. The whole area smelled of mould.
