All the trees and plants. Felt as though you were in a resort. Many spaces to sit and relax. Unfortunately trying to obtain information from the Service Desk was a most unpleasant and unhelpful experience. An extremely poor and upsetting experience. The booking was later made through Expedia. On checking out the gentleman who assisted me couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful. I would rate that experience as excellent.

Easy check in, very friendly staff. Clean, beautiful gardens inside the hotel were you can sit relax and have quiet drink. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely place. Food was often cold due to cold plates, especially breakfast. Room was nice however there was approx 20 bits of toe/fingernail undet the bedside table.

Overall nice property rooms are clean. Bathrooms are clean, but need an update . If I was to critique anything in the rooms it would be that there is no water pressure. Other than that the whole experience is great. I would stay here again.

A great hotel on all accounts. A little aged but tons of charm, the extensive indoor garden creates a great atmosphere while dining or enjoying a beverage at the bar. Always one of our goto places to stay while visiting canberra.

Liked: quiet, friendly reception staff. easy access to room. Reception staff quick to respond to request for help. Light rail stop almost in front of property so could travel easily. Did not like: ignored at restaurant- area when I went to ask a question. Room cleanliness so so- food marks on light switch there before we arrived and still there 2 days later. floor in bathroom had visible marks (sticky blobs) there from before we arrived. Would have been nice to have a biscuit or two waiting for when we checked in to have with our coffee as those without cars could not go immediately shopping. broken glass near front entrance in the shrub not noticed or removed. Maybe someone doing a check of the surrounds twice daily? only takes a few minutes.
