The Cape Milner is well positioned within easy walking distance of lots of shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself feels spacious and the bedrooms are large with very comfortable beds.

I loved the venue and the Hotel overall had a great feel to it. Only Constructive comment i could make was that i lost the wifi connection intermittently throughout my 2 day stay

Unsatisfactory stay
Rooms are untidy, especially under beds- daily cleaning is not up to standard. Gowns and some towels were removed and not replaced during our stay. Parking entrance and exit you need to press and there’s no sanitizer (exposure to COVID) same goes to lift. Parking is not free for guests.

Lovely boutique hotel
Lovely little boutique hotel in Cape Town. Requested a quiet room and late check out and was warmly accommodated. The bed is the most important for me and the comfort exceeded my expectation. The restaurant is great! Lovely staff. Thank you

Everything was just amazing!! The room the view to table mountain, it was very clean , area it safe to take a walk and staff was very kind and friendly I had a wonderful stay overall to the I didn’t want to leave.

Lovely hotel but needs a refresh
I have stayed at the Cape Milner about 6 times . Hotel is lovely and the staff and service is great. My room was a suite on this occasion and it was tired and needs updating. The room staff had not cleaned the room properly and there empty water bottles on the balcony outside and No spoons in the room for coffee. I actually think the lower grade rooms are better /newer and so will just save the money and book a standard room going forward.

Lovely stay, great hotel, nice pool area and really helpful staff. We accidentally left our passports and extra cash in the safe. Everything was safe and sound at the front desk when we returned to pick it up two days later. Easy and cheap onsite parking too. Really great location, walking distance to excellent restaurants and BoKap neighborhood. If I am Cape Town again I will definitely stay here.

Comfortable but can be noisy

First class hotel with welcoming reception
From the moment we arrived at reception Lee could no of been more helpful and accommodating. The rooms a clean and well appointed, the location is good for table mountain. Compared to other accommodation we have stayed at in Cape Town it gives good value for money, Lee on reception was the best reception staff by far anywhere we stayed!

A great little hotel
I had an awesome stay at the Cape Milner. The hotel has been refurbished. The rooms are decent size modern and comfortable. The breakfast great and the service awesome.

Good location for walking into museums and city centre. Great rooms, restaurant/bar/breakfast. A shambles checking out but that shouldn’t ruin a good stay.

Bad Coffee!!
at book in was a member of staff whose first day at the job it was- no one to assist - but it was okay - I booked room with twin beds but were taken to room with one double/queen size- had to wait about 10 - 15 min before someone relocated me - when asked why they did not heck my booking - I received a very meaningless reply. breakfast was excellent - Coffee very very bad though - Coffee to me very important part f breakfast - I will not stay at Cape milner because of ghastly coffee.

Good looking hotel reception, restaurant, pool areas. Excellent breakfast. Super friendly helpful staff. Room was substandard. Extremely basic, lights not working, doorlock not working, cupboard handle falling off. We had workmen in and out of the room to repair things. Not impressed. The hotel itself is really lovely though, so if the rooms are fixed I would well recommended it.

Great alternative to staying in the V&A area. Much younger, hipper area with multiple gastro style bars/restaurants in walking distance. Friendly staff, hotel is slightly dated but a good price and still very comfortable.

Gem in a diamond of a city
Cape Milner is an amazing boutique hotel in an incredible city. The hotel offers nice big clean rooms with big bathrooms, an impressive included breakfast, beautiful little pool and even a free shuttle for transport around town.

NO WIFI !!
The hotel was excellent BUT the only reason it doesn't rate excellent was due to the lack of wi-fi as advertised... Wifi is free but only available in reception. We joined a long queue at reception to query why there was not wifi access in the rooms. Everyday we were told it was a temporary fault. We queried again one evening and the night gentleman on the reception desk was very abrupt and obviously didn't understand getting wifi access. Apart from him and the lack of wifi the hotel, although a little out of town was excellent in every respect with wonderfully efficient and friendly staff. I'd definitely go back.
