Clean hotel on one level with big rooms with kettle and good bathroom with hairdryer. We had a small patio too. Late check in till 10pm, must vacate by 11am. McDonald’s across the road and Buffalo grill 3 minutes walk up the road - take a torch. Reception very helpful. Car park outside with locked gates.

Two night stay.
Basic hotel and value for money. Easy parking but no lift / elevator, only stairs. Friendly helpful receptionist who provided maps of Carcassone. Had kettle in room which was appreciated and unusual in a French hotel. Clean room and comfortable but with basic decor.

Standard tourist hotel. It is the staff that made our stay excellent - very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice and locally produced jams. The hotel is about 1.5 km from the castle and about 2.5 km from the city centre. For those with electric vehicles, there is a fast public EV charger less than 1 km from the hotel on an adjacent BMW forecourt. Would certainly recommend this hotel for friends and family looking for a stay in Carcassonne.

Nice enough for a basic one night stopover. They've done well creating a pretty private outdoor seating area with plant pots in an otherwise unattractive backyard area. Inside is adequate space for one person; a little cramped for two.

Just spent the night, nothing really special about it. We arrived late and didn't notice the hotel had a limit on the check in hour. The hotel manager opened the hotel again for us.

The price was spot on. The property was tired and landscaping unkept but the staff was incredibly friendly, helpful, and accommodating. This property was close to the citadel and restaurants.

Comfortable, clean & very reasonable hotel
Location easy to find and not too far from Carcassonne old city. Very friendly, helpful staff, clean, reasonably large room, comfortable bed, nice clean sheets & towels. Good shower. Good TV and Wi-fi, wall sockets for charging phone/iPads. The room also had ac/heating which was most welcome as still quite cold at night mid March.

The positives: the staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was very nice, wifi was absolutely excellent, the free pool table was a very nice touch, car park facilities were good and location was very handy for la Cite. The negatives: (this may have been just our room) there was a smell of damp and the bathroom was very compact / cramped. Overall: a very decent budget hotel with unusually good wifi but don't expect any frills.

Conveniently placed hotel to walk to Carcassonne. Exceptional staff, willing to go the extra mile for your benefit. Very good Italian nearby within walking distance along main road to modern Carcassonne.

We loved our visit to Carcassonne. The Brit Hotel Bosquet was conveniently located and much less expensive than staying inside the walled city. The proprietors let us leave all of our motorcycle gear at the hotel while we toured Carcassonne.

A far far away hotel....
The room is ok, nothing special, a little bit out of fashion. The location is quite far from the old town, 40 min walking. The buffet breakfast is mostly made by sweet things. I won t recommend this hotel.

Cheap hotel run by lovely couple. Hotel showing its age in what felt like a dodgy part of town. The female owner was exceedingly helpful in suggesting where to go in Carcassonne, which was great. The room had no cooling that worked, but the wifi was good.

Great Stay.
It was a wonderfull stay at the Britt. Owners was very kind and friendly. I would recommand that hotel for anyone with that kind of budget. Great stay. The castle of Carcasonne is a few blocks away.

The hotelier was the friendliest we have met very helpful. It was a lot further from the station than I expected and we were on foot. Plus point it that the back road walk into carcassone was very pleasant but the hotel is in a building site/industrial estate

Nice small and intimate facility with caring staff. Library/Billiard room very cozy as well as breakfast area. The room though small was comfortable quiet and clean. Close to the maintourist attractions.

For what my family needed, it was great!
My family and I had a last minute adjustment to our agenda and needed accommodations stat! Mark at the Brit Hotel Basquet was fantastic; a great host, very friendly, generous and helpful. For a 3 star hotel it definitely encouraged me to provided a five star rating. The only slight negative was a slight odor of cigarettes in the room, but I got over it quick. Thanks for everything Mark!

Hotel Bosquet
Hotel Bosquet is located near the Carcassonne medieval city. You will need to walk about 15 minutes to get there. It's an easy walk, but keep it in mind when booking. The accommodations are nothing special, but clean and well kept. The staff is friendly. Breakfast is an additional charge, well stocked with cereals, fruits, coffees, tea, etc.

Great for the price.
The hotel was a 20 minute walk from the medieval city. Our bus driver on the airport shuttle kindly asked which hotel we were going to and dropped us off at the roundabout. Take the road above the hotel to walk to the old city- nicer route. It is basic but clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Handy to have a kettle in the room.The price was very reasonable, and it was quiet at night.

This hotel is a short walk from the medieval centre, although on the other side from the main town centre and station. It was very good value, with everything in the room in good condition and clean. The staff were friendly. It was a bit short on atmosphere, though great for an overnight stay.
