"The pool was closed and has been for some time as they are rebuilding it. This was not advertised when booking nor was it communicated to us afterwards. Bike hire and meals also need to be arranged the day before , again this wasn't communicated to us when booking or when speaking to the reception on the phone prior to arriving. It's a lovely village but I think it's not ok to advertise facilities that aren't available as this was a big reason why we chose it. I would definitely go again though...

"The house is perfect for a couple, wouldn’t have changed anything. The garden is beautiful and leads to the cliff tops with lovely walks east and west. With orchids and birds in the garden it was perfect for the naturalist in me to enjoy. Simon was helpful and friendly. Just a really lovey time for us both."

"Lovely quiet holiday in the country, and still on the Algarve, not an English breakfast or fish and chips in sight, the accommodation is great and suited us well, plenty of room to site out on the patio's and enjoy the sunshine. "We just spent the month of March in this villa. It was exactly as described and we found this quiet, rural location suited us perfectly. There are several grocery stores and many restaurants within a 5 to 10 minute drive and Lagos is just 15 minutes away where there are many restaurants and great shopping, beaches, sites to explore and hiking. "The apartment is spacious and equipped enough to ensure a comfortable stay. Enough space for things and relaxation. Comfortable beds. Kitchen with sufficient equipment, we did not complain about the lack of something. The owner is very nice and polite, offers advice about the area and available attractions. The decor of the apartment may be a bit old-fashioned, but the furniture is comfortable and functional. The bathroom is quite large, and probably requires a slight modernization and cleaning...

"This cabin is super cute and located in the slow village. The antique furnishings were beautiful. We were able to walk to the restaurant and pizza place, and our kids walked down the street to see the chickens many times. The restaurant was really yummy (chocolate mousse with salt) and the pizza place was just average and only took euros. The only thing I would wish for is a fan. It got warm upstairs at night, and we could not leave the windows open because mosquitoes would get in. The bbq area...

"The view was lovely and such a pleasure to wake up in the morning too. Communication with Elmarie the owner was really efficient. Tricky road to access the house. Hot tub was nice after being cleaned. AC was only in the living room. Master bedroom fan didn't cool enough, other bedroom fan worked well. Loads of towels available which was really good. Kitchen was great to use and had everything we needed. Remember to bring shampoo and shower gel. Really beautiful view and nice drive into Lagos."

El menaje, mobiliario, y distribución estaba todo fantástico, muy completo y práctico. La situación es inmejorable. Hemos alquilado varias veces por la zona y sin duda repetiremos.
