This was the only cheap hotel I could find in Casablanca to kill two nights before my tour. It's great if you are on a serious budget and want to have your own room, but otherwise, I advise spending more money to stay elsewhere.
Pros: decent location with lots of cafés nearby and a 25min walk to the Hasaan Mosque, good wifi although it's only in the lounge, aircon worked well, night shift reception was very kind and even offered me traditional mint tea while I sat and used the wifi in the lounge, the mattress is decently comfortable.
Cons: no restaurant, no English speaking staff (French and Arabic only), tv is limited to 5 channels in Arabic and French only, hot water lasts for about 5min in shower, you can tell the sheets have been cleaned but there are still hairs stuck to the sheets, the pillows are ripped up with holes but they just throw the pillow case on it and hope you don't notice, the comforter looks like it's never been washed (Eeww), lounge is filled with cigarette smoke but so is all of morocco, no city map available at the front desk nor at the airport.
Do yourself a favor and don't spend ANY extra time in Casablanca. Go see the Hasaan Mosque and be done. It's a dirty, smelly, busy city with nothing to offer except the mosque and a starting point for many Moroccan tours. As a single female, I didn't feel overly comfortable walking around by myself. The men are very aggressive and yell at you as you walk down the street and sometimes get in your face.
