“After many years of travelling, we stayed at our first bed & breakfast at No.5 East. Beautiful old mansion with beautiful rooms to stay in. Nice area with restaurants and shopping around the corner. Continental breakfast was great and the Latte’s exceptional. The hosts were amazing and easy to talk to. We will certainly stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg. 5 stars from us”

“Fantastic stay. Love the historic aspects and neat architecture! Only thing is there was no kitchen bar of any kind in the room, but when we requested a feidge it was promptly suppkied while we were eating supper. ”

“Very close to The Forks which was nice and a Walkable distance. The room was very clean and everything up to date. There was no microwave and the parking was terrible. The parking was very minimul, first come first serve, and the spots were small. Ment for a car but we brought the truck for bigger expenses. It wasnt ideal and parking was hard to come by in the evening on the weekend. ”

“Everything about the room was fine, except there was a wedding or something going on and the end result was a constant stream of noisy intoxicated people talking and slamming doors between about 2 and 4 AM!”

“The room was quiet and comfortable. I especially enjoy watching sunset from my window. Wifi was accessible everywhere within the building. ”

“Because of severe weather condition, the air conditioner could not make the room all the time. One of the elevators was out of service for my whole stay, and the only one was very busy with some issues. The safety of the area was terrible, and some security crews were assigned in different floors.”

“The staff at the front desk and the pool were friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was fantastic, and my kids really enjoyed the slides! Even though it was the long weekend, the pool wasn’t crowded, we only met two or three other groups of guests. I did notice, however, that the beds in the room seemed a bit smaller or shorter than usual. The shower water pressure was a bit weak, and the toilet flush didn’t always work properly, which was a little surprising for such a new hotel.”

“No complaint. Good room, good breakfast. Complimentary dinner from Mon to Thur is simple but good enough. When shuttle is unavailable, shuttle of the hotel next door will assist.”
