Four stars is more like 2 stars maximum for sure. Very bad rooms and uncomfortable beds and paint coming off the walls Showers were bad also with fittings broken. Very noisy hotel and party’s inside the hotel until really late.

NIGHTMARE. We had to change rooms 3 times at 2 am because. A/C not working or power not enough to charge our phones and CPAP machine When we left we were soo tired that we left 2 baggage pieces “ unattended “ that were “stolen”

First of all we would like to apologise for all the times we changed your room and for the incovinience we might caused to you But the purpose of this action, was clearly for your best experience here in our hotel. As you may understand, problems of this nature happened, happens and might happen in the future, but the point is how to face each problem and how We act to situations like these. Regarding the matter that you mentioned above, about the missing pieces of luggage, we would like to inform you that our Hotel, has a special private space 100% secure, but in any case this space is not the parking space. As you may have seen inside the garage, there are numerous signs explaining that in case something goes missing, ThE HOTEL IS NOT LIABLE, and you are 100% responsible for the things that might get lost inside the parking space. Business Trip Chalkida
Lovely hotel in a great location on the promenade. Limited parking facilities in hotel so you may need to park across the road in another car park. Reception were very pleasant and spoke good English. Breakfast was nice also and is served early so good for people in work, did not try the restaurant although there are many restaurants along the promenade outside as well. Overall really enjoyed my stay.

This property is in such a prime position the owners should consider investing in new beds and upgrading the rooms . The Breakfast is not good and should be improved eating cold fried eggs is not great .. It is a real shame . Jose Luis Nunes De Barros

The evening restaurants downstairs (outside) played music until 2 or 3 in the morning. These are owned by the hotel. This is no longer a Best Western facility. You may want to check this out. The bedspread was very old. Some of the carpet was very old. The staff was great, however.

With water view, which we did not see.
Because of it size and a very large occupancy. Breakfast was chaos and short on food. Good coffee was extra although breakfast was included. Do not drive there unless you have made arrangements to park your car near. Over an hour to find parking. And them we have to walk a few blocks to get to hotel with our luggage.

Wonderful hotel in a great location!
My family and I LOVE the Lucy Hotel! The location is perfect, right in the middle of amazing restaurants, bakeries, shopping, beaches, churches, etc. We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms were very big and had lots of great storage for our clothes. We loved sitting on the balcony overlooking the beautiful water and watching boats go by. We would definitely stay here again. Chalkida is such a beautiful place to visit, we are already planning our trip back for next year!

STAY FAR FAR AWAY
Man at front desk...USELESS. didn't make eye contact. I specifically asked them for a non-smoking room. He assured me it was non smoking. I get to the room, it was GROSS. smelled of smoke and mold and hair from previous customer on bath towel. No desire from reception to assist to change rooms. With a child with severe allergies, they COUKD CARE LESS. Zero help from front desk with luggage like any "supposed" 4-star hotel. the air conditioning and lights don't turn on unless you slip your room card into a slot in the room. No instructions or notifications on that. Even when I figured that part out the air conditioning didn't work. The vents were jammed with dirt and dust that a plume of dust came out of it when I turned it on. I called the front desk to let them know air conditioning wasn't working. I was assured someone would come. NO ONE DID. Very disappointing for my first night and even worse, as a Greek I was embarrassed.

Good beginning- bad ending
It's a lovely, albeit dated, hotel. There was some confusion at check in- we had asked for a room with two beds, got one bed, got cleared up quickly- but the front desk handled it well. The last day though, we had no hot water for showers. When we complained we were told the boiler was having problems. No apologies. Then, the front desk clerk who had not apologized just watched my elderly mother as she struggled with her suitcases and never offered to help. Very rude and not a nice ending to what had been a relatively nice stay. Ok breakfast. Air conditioning worked. Lovely view.

This hotel was just too hard to find if you are not familiar with the location. The front entrance which is the address given is. It in the gps and not accessible because it is the walkway

Really centrally located. Parking was quite tricky to find in local neighbourhood especially as we arrived late in the evening. Breakfast was good but service slow. Breakfast was not busy and yet table were not clean. Check-out was slow and disappointing. Room itself was very comfortable - bed was great.

Old hotel, Great neighborhood, Amazing view.
The hotel is nothing to write home about, it's rather old and has very uncomfortable beds. However, for the price it's exactly what I expected. The neighborhood and view from the room are fantastic though. Downstairs is a boardwalk of sorts with tons of restaurants and bars. Perfect to hand around a few days.

What a wonderful place!
Fantastic views! Clean rooms! Amazingly friendly staff! Great breakfast! I couldn't be happier! Oh and they have on site parking which was huge in this city! I can not wait to go back!

Great hotel
We were welcomed warmly and could not fault this excellent hotel. Room had a marvellous view over the sea. All clean and comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Felt like a family hotel, not a chain. Well done.
