“Staying at this property is all about wanting a unique and historical experience. The café was very pleasurable in the evening and we both enjoyed a meal. The room was extremely clean and very comfortable even though I had my doubts the bed was going to be comfortable, had a wonderful night sleep. The shower was to die for and the hairdryer made us both laugh. Parking is at the rear of the hotel and there is an easy entrance right off the parking lot. “Absolutely wonderful holiday retreat. Property was so much more than I imagined, even a coffee pod machine with pods, and many other added extras. A home from home. So spacious and was just so peaceful. Loved waking to the sound of the horses, cows, sheep etc. Welcome goodies were so appreciated. 5* accommodation, so clean and well presented. Had no issues so didn’t contact the owners. Would most definitely stay again if I was in the area. Highly recommended”

“Fantastic host in Adrian. His team working on Thursday evening (Rob and Molly) gave brilliant service in the restaurant. The selection of food and flexibility of the kitchen was excellent. Awesome beer selection at the bar and a nice friendly bunch of locals to chat with after my meal. Room was spotless with a very comfortable bed and very good size powerful shower All in all a very good find. Will definitely be back.”

“Overall was an amazing place to visit. We had booked the suites which were fantastic. Shocked to hear place was 9 years old. Felt much younger. Suites private garden was nice, however slightly shocked could not fully use main spa amenities. The biggest down side for us was the bed which we had in the lavender suite. It was awful, very slanted and first night I did not sleep well. Was informed next morning could only rotate the bed. Which staff to there credit did do, however once again issues……
