“Stayed in the presidential suite. This is fantastic historical building and is lovely inside. I am worried about the longevity of this building but everything inside the room works and the bed was verycomfortable. Hot tub didn't seem to have jets but I didn't care it was still amazing and a nice soak. Currently (July 2026) there is no bar or restaurant operating. There was a very small Continental breakfast but the price for such a place was a great value. My wife loved it.”

“The hot tub is broke….there is no game room we actually saw a cot in that room with beer bottles. The sheets were also dirty. There was a party downstairs and the people were so loud at night outside our room.”

“Our room had mold in the bathroom, covering the ceiling. The staff was friendly and helpful with our problem, but ultimately we ended up leaving before our stay was over.”

“Good location and enjoyed the pool. Staff was friendly even though they were extremely busy. The breakfast was well stocked. However the first floor room smelled like chemicals. There were crumbs under our pillows and the sheets smelled like someone else’s body odor. There was also a bloody Kleenex in our sheets.”

“The hotel is under construction (as of July 2026). From the outside it looks abandoned. Our room had stained carpet, exposed wires, and loose tiles. The continental breakfast had a broken coffee and juice machine. The staff were friendly, but that’s about all this place had going for it.”

“We had an amazing stay at Mont Rest! Hearing the history from Chris (the owner) was an added treat! So crazy to see how she saved the property not once, but twice! The staff was exceptional. The breakfast was incredible. I loved that there wasn't a huge push to get people checked out. Our room was lovely and well appointed! We cannot wait to schedule another long weekend in Bellevue!”
