Would have been better if the pool was heated. It’s was a balmy 42 degree water in December in the Midwest. We wouldn’t stay there again only because of this fact. We are bummed because everything else was great!!

Stinky and uncomfortable

This hotel is awful!!!! I was there 3 nights. The room stunk of sewage. The bedding was horrible. The television was awful. Avoid this location!!!!!!!

Reserved a king room and called 3 times to be sure we could check in early to get ready for an afternoon wedding. Assured there was no problem, on arrival I was told there were no king rooms available. I would describe the front desk person as unconcerned. Kinda’ tough luck attitude.

No housekeeping, which would be okay but we stayed multiple days and got a note on the door that said we needed to allow housekeeping in. The note said we had a do not disturb on our door. We didn't. Sounds like someone didn't want to do their job.

No coins for laundry. Even front desk didn’t have quarters. Furniture and fixtures in hallways . And We were to have a handicap room. Instead we had a shower with a step in tub.

Mold

We checked in late and had to be up early. We showered and went to bed. I woke up covered in hives. I took medicine and we went on about our day and again came in late, showered and went to bed. Again, woke up covered in hives. There was mold on our shower curtain at the bottom and also between the curtain and the tub! The hallway was EXTREMELY hot. Be very careful if you are allergic to mold. The hotel was made aware of the problem.

Some pool time would of been a rare occurence trea

Very bummed out the pool lift or disabled not working & never addressed during 3 nite stay. A new reason given each time when I brought it up at front desk daily. 50% of the reason I chose the Hampton, by far the most $$$$ expencive lodging in Clinton Ia. The other 50% reason for choosing to spend the highest $$$$ in town option was for the roll in shower. Really feel I should of been compensated a $$ nite or something. Not a child but wheelchair user & pool lift issue never resolved if even attempted seriously. Very dismayed, a little offended. Not seriously or priority addressed if attempted at all. Probably forgotten/ swept under rug already
