Visit the Garden Isle
Kauai is the fourth largest and oldest of the Hawaiian Islands. It's practically the stereotype of a tropical island with its crystal clear waters, sandy beaches, stunning waterfalls and breathtaking land formations. People visit rural Kauai to get away from the hustle and bustle of Big Island Hawaii; if you lust for Mother Nature's art instead of an art gallery, then this is the place for you. Get ready to visit the Garden Isle by booking your cheap flights to Kauai on Expedia today.
Flights to Kauai land at Lihue Airport (LIH), located on the eastern side of the island. Most tourists visiting Kauai arrive on the island through LIH. LIH offers direct flights to several United States mainland destinations, Vancouver, Honolulu and Kahului. Airlines that service LIH include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, go!, Hawaiian Airlines, Island Air, United Airlines, US Airways and WestJet. LIH is a rather small airport; most of the airport is un-walled, and passengers check in for their flights outside.

When to buy tickets to Kauai
Interestingly enough, the most popular time of the year to get Kauai flights is not during Kauai's most pleasant seasons; high season for Kauai airfare is from mid-December through mid-April. Christmas is an especially popular time to get tickets, so if you're interested in visiting Kauai during the last two weeks of December, book your flights early and expect holiday crowds. Kauai's off season occurs during mid-April through mid-June and September through mid-December. You'll get the great weather during the spring and the fall as well as reduced prices and fewer crowds. Shoulder season is from mid-June through August; lots of families take advantage of school vacations and visit Kauai during this period of time, so if you want to avoid masses of children, don't visit Kauai during the summer. Kauai also tends to get crowded around holiday time, so make sure to book tickets ahead of time if you want to visit during holiday season.

Lots of Aloha
Staff a bit cold
Would be nice for no baggage fee.
I think you should not charge for the iPad since most planes offer inflight tv and movies
Wifi didnt work
Very pleasant flight. Nice and helpful flight attendants
No free bags. Free first checked bag would be ideal
Had to stay a whole day in Lihue because my flight got cancelled. This caused me to miss two events I planned costing more than $3,000. Money down the drain thanks to American Airlines.
No seat power, no entertainment on flight even though they say. You have to download an app and pay for very limited entertainment. Seats are very small and old. No chargers. Will not take this airline again to Hawaii if there are others available.
