In my opinion a hotel shouldn’t be able to advertise a pool if it’s chargeable at £20 per person. The hotel is VERY tired. The bed base was scratched and peeling the walls needed a paint, the carpets needed a clean. The rooms are very basic unless you upgrade. Small and dark with a view of a wall 6 ft away when you look out of the small window. The clientele at the hotel were probably reflective of its condition. A man repeatedly hawking and spitting on the floor right outside reception as we arrived and then then group of women drinking out on the bar terrace at 8pm on Friday evening….in their dressing gowns, whilst other guests are dressed for dinner. Very odd. Not somewhere I’d visit again and moreover would make me doubt using the Hilton brand again.

Really nice room. The restaurant was nice with good service. Only downsides were that we had to wait 45 minutes for a taxi as we weren’t told we had to wait outside for it. We were sat in reception so had to order another. No one answered when we called for room service. £20pp for spa is expensive in my opinion and should be automatically included with the room. All in all would stay here again.
