Great for downtown theaters

The shower/bathroom was the best we have seen in a hotel in a long time. Even though they are under construction, service and guest hospitality were amazing.

Nice hotel close to union station

Easy parking, nice clean rooms, very friendly staff good breakfast in the morning with a nice variety of food. We would definitely stay here again.

nice hotel close to german christmas market

Cons: Provide amenities for bathroom
Location: I like this hotel because close to german christmas market and very affordable
My only complaint is that we never got any shampoo, conditioner, lotion or any other amenities. The only thing given was 1 bar of soap.

Nice hotel close to most places to explore.

Visiting Chicago for first time with family. Inn has no laundry and no fridge. Staff was friendly; breakfast was decent; security was evident; room was clean and location was convenient. Overall a good trip and adventure.

Good value in Downtown Chicago

Stayed here the weekend after Thanksgiving and the hotel was a good value for Downtown Chicago. The rooms were clean and fresh, breakfast had all the typical offerings. Convenient to the attractions in the Loop area, 1 block to the El station for going farther afield.

The room is clean and conforatble.

Pros: The room was clean and confortable. Location is very convenient, close to bus, train and subway.
Cons: Need a refrigerator and micro wave.
Location: Sky deck, art musum, aquarium, Buddy Guy's legend and Giornando's pizza
Our family, wife and daughter and myself, had stayed 2 nights at athis hotel.

Great location and staff

Pros: Location - all about location
Cons: It would be nice to have actual glasses in the hotel rooms instead of styrofoam.
Location: The Willis Tower is just around the corner, and two famous Chicago pizzerias (Lou Malnati's and Giordano's) are less than a mile away.
While there is nothing particularly fancy about the La Quinta, the location and the staff make it a great bargain in this area. The walk to CTA stations is short, and there are many popular sites within a mile. The desk staff was happy to make recommendations about where to eat, and we enjoyed the hot breakfast every morning, even if the options didn't vary much.

Super friendly staff

The La Quinta Inn has a huge breakfast buffet with eggs, waffles, cereal, fruit, yogurt and more. The staff working the breakfast shift are SO nice: chatting and singing, so pleasant to be around and a great way to start the day!

Location: great bars and resturants
