The valet attendant I had checking in was great (the one checking out was ok)-check in staff was great-food and lady taking up dishes were also great (as well as the guy making drinks)—-highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Cleveland

It’s not a bad hotel, but you’re definitely paying for the location. The rooms were dated and lack luster. I wouldn’t pay this much again.

This is a great downtown location and the building itself is spectacular - I learned it was built in 1931 and has many original/restored features including doors, high arched windows, and marble. We took a walk around the mall area out back, surrounded by other impressive buildings and home to a bronze statue of President Lincoln with the Gettysburg address carved on its base, and the Cleveland War Memorial fountain, which was inspiring to look at. Staff was incredibly friendly, efficient, and attentive. We really enjoyed the evening kickback food and drinks, which helped create a fun, relaxing vibe for our stay. Breakfast was delicious, and the valet service (though a little pricey) was terrific. Everyone made us feel like valued guests, and we would definitely choose to stay here again for any future trip to Cleveland.

Pleasantly surprised. Room are huge and nicely decorated. Loved the high ceilings. Pool is nice. Great for families. Loved the breakfast. Nightly reception is awesome although we didn’t participate. Great location and love the history of the building.

The hotel and staff were 5 star. Everything was great. However, the valet service was 0 stars. At check in, i barely got inside the hotel and i heard my car race away. When i turned i saw my car flying down a one way street. I told the front desk and the response i gor was "sorry about that". When i called for my car later that day. One of the valet was inside reving the engine so the other could hear it. They just laughed when i asked them if they were enjoying themselves. Absolutely zero respect.

We had a nice stay. Beds were too soft for us and room seemed dated (worn carpet), but it was spacious and well lit. Valet parking was expensive but very good service. Provided food (breakfast and dinner) was fair.
