"Beautiful property , remote and quiet , located at a mountain summit. Friendly staff . Spectacular panoramic views and multitude of colorful birds. Great weather , not too cold or hot . The access road is difficult and not suitable for vehicles other than 4 by 4 transmissions, that maybe the only downside , but I was told you can also hire a special transport in the local town nearby , around 40 minutes drive from there to the hotel . We do hope to get a chance to visit this property again "

"Had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel. It is serene and peaceful with lovely animals. Alvaro was the best host, breakfast was incredible and he accommodated that we were vegetarian and served us very well. The hotel is between Salento and Cocora Valley. He even dropped us to Cocora Valley and Salento later! Hiked from the hotel to the top of a hill and it was gorgeous! "

It is ideal if you plan to travel to the Valle de Cocora for some horseback riding, not if you want to explore the city center of Salento. I can't say enough about the staff and owners ...... how helpful, kind, accommodating, and just willing to do anything possible to make sure everyone is at the peak of happiness and contentment !!!
