Excellent location right by the beach and local shops. Locals are very friendly and the staff were helpful. Rooms were clean and had basic amenities.

A Comfortable Place to Pause
Woolgoolga is a regular stopover spot between Brisbane and Sydney Motel is close to the surf for an early morning paddle. Also central for eating and cruising the shops.

Road trip - night one
Stayed only one night - felt very welcome, the receptionist provided information on our destination as she had been there recently. Location is great across road from beach, small laid back town which at this stage not over commercialised. Plenty of choice as far as dining out. Would go back.

Location, Location, Location
Myself & 3 girlfriends stayed at Beach Motel Woolgoolga this weekend just gone. It is a very beautiful part of the world & our Motel was right in the middle of where we wanted to go. Right across the road from the beach, 2 doors away from a number of cafes & other shops all within walking distance. Had to drive to the supermarket, but overall, once the groceries purchased, didn't need the car at all! The motel itself is not 5 star, but it's not advertised as such. We found the room spacious, light & airy & clean. It had all the facilities that we needed & all of us said that we'd certainly stay there again.

Great location, awaiting demo & rebuild
Have stayed a few times over the years - great location and close to beach. Excellent for one or two day stop-overs. Has not been updated for quite a while as it is scheduled for a rebuild, when no doubt it will still be a great place to stay, but more expensive! If you ever fancied stopping at Woolgoolga, don't mind basic but good 3 star, do it before the reno starts!

Great little town.
Our overall stay was good. The motel was in a great location walking to almost everything including beach. The food we had was very good. Very clean town. If one thing stood out for us it was the beach you could enjoy it without being knocked over the waves were small and swimming with the fish a bonus.

Convenient stopover between Sydney and Brisbane
Our experience was a simple overnight stop on the way home after visiting a friend at nearby Sandy Beach. There is not a lot of accommodation to choose from at Woolgoolga but it is a nice little town and I may go back there some day.

Comfortable overnight stay
The motel is close to the beach and eateries. Love the White Salt which sells takeaway fish and chips. The staff in the motel is cheerful and pleasant. The room is nice and clean and the bed is comfortable. The shower is nice and hot.

For a 3 star I was pleasantly surprised, quite roomy and the bed linen & towels were top quality. (Better than I've had at some 5 stars) Will definitely drop in again on my way up the coast.

Great place to stay.
Wonderful yes some say dated but we would say retro wouldn’t change a thing, people pay vast amounts of money for the retro look. Spotlessly clean, we travel up north and will always be out place to stop. It’s such a great spot amongst the shops and the beach across the road, highly recommended.

Overnight stay
My wife and I used this motel as an overnight stay travelling home from Queensland, it was clean, comfortable and had easy access to the local beach front, park lands and eateries in the main street, noise was negligent.

Our family were staying at the caravan park which was opposite the motel so it was only a two minute walk to them and the beach. The cafe next door was wonderful excellent friendly service with very delicious food. Woolgoolga is a charming seaside town with a lovely friendly feel.

Convenient and generally clean
Great position, right in the centre of town, close to beach and eateries. No need to drive anywhere. Staff friendly and courteous. Only problem was the ceiling fan blades were filthy, obviously not part of the cleaning regime. Other than that all good and will happily recommend.
