Our room was next to the staircase and the entrance door, so every time someone walked by, it was VERY loud in our room. We could not sleep the whole night. The next day we requested to change our room, but the concierge responded that she could not do that without the manager’s permission, who was supposed to come later that day. We had to leave for the day, but we left our phone number, plus an extra one in case the first was not reachable for any reason. We did not receive any calls on either number. The next day at check-out, the concierge told us she was trying to call but no one picked up, which is clearly not true—we did not have any missed calls or voicemails. The curtain in the room is broken so we couldn't have full privacy, and the lights from outside kept us awake. Awful smell in the hallways. Room not really clean.
