Hotel has a beautiful lobby with a really nice bar area. We were walking distance away from the Arena which was perfect. I would definitely stay again. The only thing we missed were the cookies at check in 😁

The first night I was on the first floor. I had a room above me. This facility is older so the floor creeks. I heard the person upstairs until 3 AM walking around whatever they were doing. I could hear them coughing sneezing going to the bathroom. My first room was very dirty. There was hair in the wall here in the wall in the shower. There was like dog hair in the bathroom floor. The second night was a lot better. This room had actual shower gel robes and toiletry items like all of them should have my first room didn’t have anything. No room service I did not like that option at all

The hotel didnt accomodate to our request for a king side bed. The room had an adjacent door to another room which is not safe and accomdating. The hotel thinks that giving people cookies makes up for service. Spending all the money to make the lobby looks nice but the rooms are such poor quality. Also the walls are paper thin and cluld hear people in other rooms. Also the beds were super uncomfortable and caused backpain. Would not suggest anyone staying there including ourselves ever again.

After reviewing your reservation, I see that a king bed was not the room originally booked. While we do try to accommodate changes to room type, sometimes we just don't have the room type available. I have stayed in this hotel for the last many years, several times a year. Not for biz but because my grandchildren live nearby and it is ALL about the pool. I didn't think I needed to ask about the pool condition when I booked the reservation. The pool was freezing cold, too cold to swim. The maintenance guy came by while we were there and said the heater is broken, it is an old system and if I get permission to turn it on, it will take 6 hours to heat up. The hot tub was barely warm. Many families came into the pool area while we were there all very disappointed. Unless, I get confirmation from you that the pool heater is in good working condition I will not stay there again. I spend $200 for that 1 night just on the room. We also had dinner there. Sheila Hill

Pool was cold hot tub was cold. The first room was dirty hair every where and no soaps in dispensers. Then we got another room and that room had a tampon under the pillow with blood on pillow and the shower water wouldn’t go down! It was a mess no rest waste of time and very discusted by all the dirtyness of such a high named hotel. So we didn’t not stay and we went to a new hotel.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Everyone was friendly and most helpful. However, the unexpected addition of $50 non-refunable incidental charge per night was a HUGE surprise. I won’t be staying at Doubletree again for that reason.

Vanessa was amazing at check in, staff is all very friendly, and we will definitely be back. We stay in Colorado Springs often and have always stayed downtown. This area is 100 times better than downtown, I’ll never go back.

Overall liked it I just my shower was messed up so maintenance had to come and then I found someone else headphones on the other bed so made me wonder if things were clean.
