"This is my go to spot when i work in the area. Self service check in, rooms are spacious, walking distance to bars, food, and other options. Lady i talked with was super friendly and took care my stay as i never know if i have to pack up and leave. "

"Check in is easy. The Kitchen has pans, dishes some spices. We cooked several meals in the house. I went with my son and 4 granddaughters age 7-13. The house was large enough for the girls to have space to play. Location is quiet. We drove a lot in the daytime to get to shoreline of great lakes. Great place for snowmobiles or ATV's. I would stay here again. Lisa is a great hostess."

"I didn’t know that there wasn’t an elevator. Although I am handicapped, I usually just get a regular room. I would have requested an accessible room, or at least one on the first floor, had I known. Also, most rooms, even if they aren’t handicapped accessible, have a grab bar or something to hold on to in the shower. This room did not. Again, I know I didn’t request a handicapped room, I just wish I had known about these things (mostly the no elevator) before hand. With all that being said, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there were plenty of pillows and towels. We had no other issues with the room or the whole facility!"

"Great stay if you’re looking for a private, relaxed environment! My adult family stayed for 6 days/5 nights with our 2 dogs and it was the perfect getaway from the craziness of life! The property is beautiful, the provided kayaks/canoe were so appreciated, and the firepit offered a relaxing way to spend the evenings. The kitchen was spacious and well-stocked with cooking tools, so we were able to prepare meals!Our hosts were wonderful and responsive. They have really thought of a lot of make this stay special - providing games (indoor and outdoor), firewood (please donate to the donation fund!), and open living spaces. Please note, this is a relatively REMOTE area - the nearest grocery (Dollar General) is about a 15-20 minute drive. There aren’t many restaurants (which we were fine with). Additionally, this is a beautiful but old home - as such, the AC does not reach the 2nd floor well. This is aided by opening the windows and the provided fans. But given 3/4 bedrooms are on the 2nd floor, this is important to point out - especially because one bedroom has no windows and can get hot quickly. We will definitely consider staying here again!!"
