Lovely Waterfront Getaway
My daughter, granddaughter and I spent a wonderful, quiet week by the water. Cool, cloudy days are my favorite, so we couldn't have been in a more perfect spot. My granddaughter had to work from the home everyday and had great internet access. Our only glitch was that we are all allergic to feathers and by the end of the week our allergies had turned to full-blown sinus infection. The pillows and comforters are all down filled. But the property manager said he would look into remedying that.

This property was exactly what we were looking for. This property is located on a dead end road, so no traffic and over looking the water. It was peace and quiet for my husband and I all weekend. There were stairs that lead down to a private beach. The house was very cozy and the bed was so comfy! We will definitely be back in the spring!

Spectacular views!
Everything about this property was true to the description in the Vrbo listing. There are few appliances and outdoor furniture a bit outdated but still comfortable. The view is the biggest star of this property. The ocean view just spreads out in front of you. Sunsets are awesome! As long as it's not cloudy. The beach is rocky but walkable. We will be back!

Fantastic Whidbey West Facing Beach Home
Perfect get away. Hosts are vey responsive and informative. Home is immaculate with great amenities. Fantastic views from the west-facing deck. Ideal for breakfast coffee, reading and watching sunsets with a glass of wine or two. Great beach access. Close to hiking, kayaking and Coupeville restaurants. Highly recommend. Will definitely return.

A beautiful, clean property with stunning views of Puget Sound, the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the Olympic mountains! The pictures are accurate but the experience is truly breathtaking! We’d definitely stay here again. We’re talking about renting for an extended stay in the future, if available.

Magical place
This is a magical place. The house is very comfy and easy to live in, the beds are good, the kitchen is well-stocked especially with dishes, drinkware, flatware, pots/pans, knives, lots of useful other items. What really makes it is the location, the deck, the views from inside. Perched above Puget Sound, with gorgeous trees, the property envelops you in the serenity of nature, the lapping waves below, the birds calling to each other, and an eagle flying back and forth. The steps/path down to the water is great; we really enjoyed the trail, and one truly can walk seemingly forever on the beach when it is not high tide. The location near Coupeville could not be better. It was hard to tear ourselves away and we already are making plans to go back.

We spent a delightful three days on Whidbey Island. The view from this property was by far the highlight. We watched the Port Townsend ferry and container ships and birds. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything needed for cooking, and the owner was very helpful. We would definitely stay again.

This property is absolutely breathtaking! From the ease of checking in, to the welcome wine, to the mountains and water at your fingertips, I would highly recommend this place to anyone staying near Whidbey Island, Coupeville, or Oak Harbor. Wonderful anniversary trip. Never been to this area & we will for sure be back! This home was a perfect location. Views were magnificent. Great deck to relax & listen to water, birds. Steps to beach below a little “risky”, but worth the adventure if you wanted to try! Home older but bed was 100%!!

We had a lovely stay at this cozy and well maintained house on the bluff. Great location for visiting the many fantastic beaches (the backyard and nearby parks) and very comfortable for our family. Well appointed kitchen and amazing fireplace that our 12 year old daughter was curled up next to the entire time!

The views are incredible, beach access steps away for long walks, and a place to cozy in with the fireplace and just relax. We visited downtown Coupeville and hopped the ferry to Prt Townsend as a walk on (super easy). Bruce was a great host and communicator. The house was clean and had what we needed to ‘shelter in’ with current restrictions. Can’t wait to return and explore!

Great getaway for sun and storm
We stayed four nights in mid-Nov to get out of our house and shelter looking at a water view. This home was ideal for our purpose. It has an expanse of windows facing Admiralty Bay, Keystone ferry landing and the Strait of Juan de Fuca. The gas fireplace and excellent furnace kept the house toasty in wind and rain. The well equipped, spacious kitchen and large dining table made cooking, dining and cleaning up easy. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. Access to the beach is excellent, either down the steep stairs or more easily, down the community club road just several houses away. We enjoyed beach walking to the north and back daily, much of the way beneath tall bluffs. Good views across to Port Townsend and over to Fort Casey State Park enhance the beach. We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to return.

This home is wonderfully located, above the beach, overlooking Admiralty Inlet. Coupeville is 8 miles to the north. The sunsets on the deck were spectacular!

Our family had a wonderful four night stay at this outstanding property on Whidbey Island. It's comfortable and cozy during rain or shine, of which we had both. The patio deck has such a first class view of Admiralty Bay and beyond....it is so peaceful with the gentle breezes blowing. Great kitchen, comfy beds in the bedrooms, and a very nice living area, complete with a gas fireplace and attractive dining room table, comfy seating and TV & reliable wifi. A steep stairway to the water but it leads you to opportunities to walk the beach during low tide. Thanks for sharing your Coupeville treasure with us!

Gorgeous View & Cloud like Beds
We really enjoyed our stay. Home was extremely cleaned and well stocked. Location is between Freeland and Coupville which was perfect. It was a gurls weekend. We felt at home and safe. Both of us would come back with our respective partners and share the experience with them. We got to walk the beach and sit on the deck and bask in the afternoon sun and watch the sunset. Highly recommend.

No Pool! overpriced
They advertise a pool. I double checked with Covid would be okay..told yes. A week later emailed and told no pool access. By then, no other choices to rent which fit so we kept the reservation. They wouldn't give us a discount and we'd splurged, just for the pool. We got there and the dryer was broken.. my husband joked they wouldn't give a discount..they never offered one. They brought us extra towels and pillowcases. They visited 3 times during the 5 days..because of the dryer. I would have given fewer stars..but the owners are very nice. The appliances are dated..others could break on you. The sheets are nice and the beds are comfortable. The view is pretty. The navy planes flew around some during some days. The last two nights the planes flew around and over very loudly for 90 minutes..the first night ending at 10:01 p.m. and the second night ending at 10:14 p.m. People who could fall asleep were woken up by a fly-over at 9:40 p.m. the first night.

Nancy - Sorry you didn't have a good experience at our home. As you mentioned, we did contact you about the pool not being available about one week after you made your reservation. We were told by our homeowners association that the pool was open to residents only due to Covid. We would have offered you a full refund if you had requested it. Anyway, at your request, we checked on the pool again when you arrived and made special arrangements for you to use the pool. The next day you said you couldn't use the pool because your kids were sick. Regarding the dryer, we were planning to bring over a new dryer but you declined the offer. Instead, we took away your dirty linens (after two days) and brought new linens over. All of the other appliances are relatively new and are working fine. Bruce & Diane

Stunning Whidbey Home
We had a wonderful stay at Bruce's property. The views were spectacular and the sandy beach was awesome. We brought our kayak and a few lucky people were fortunate to see dolphins jumping in front of the boat. We had a beautiful fire and walks along the beach. Bruce was an excellent host, great communicator, and there were so many nice touches in the home that made it warm and welcoming. The views from the deck and all along the main rooms of the house were incredible. The kitchen was well stocked, the house was spotless, and the beds were very comfortable. We were so sad to leave and wish we could have stayed longer. If you are considering booking I would say there's no need to look further, you will not be disappointed.
